Alright, pick up Juvia, get breakfast, get her clothing, get a house.
I walked up to Lucy's apartment and knocked.
"Come in" Lucy yelled.
"You've gotta stop just saying come in, what if I was a killer?" I asked while She stretched
"Well your not so it's okay" she said and I rolled my eyes.
I looked for Juvia and found her asleep on the couch.
"Wake her up, I'm gonna get ready for work"
Igneels pov
"Your not my mother if I want to go see my favourite worker I will" I rolled my eyes and grabbed my jacket
"Dad come one, it's getting cold what about your bones" Natsu complained
"There already dying who cares now let's go" I said and pulled Natsu.
"Oh boy"
I heard him mumble
Timeskip
We walked up to the store and seen Lucy already inside.
"Hey Luce" Natsu greeted her and I smiled
"Hi Natsu, heya ol man" she greeted us and I waved
"How are you" she asked me and I smiled
"Oh I'm doing good, just exhausted" I chuckled and she laughed
Natsu looked at me and folded his arms.
"Well I've got some business to take care of so Natsu get her entertained" I left the old shop and huffed.
A new flame begins as an old one dies.
Time to see her.
I walked further down the road and found myself outside the café.
"Your getting slower dear" Oh I've missed the old crazy bat.
"So you finally decided to read it huh" I asked not Turing around.
"You know me, I do what I want " she said and I laughed
"So ya dying on me" she asked and I turned around.
Her stance still screamed fierce, she still looked gorgeous, her hair was peppered with silver streaks like mine and i smiled
"Hey gorgeous" I said and she giggled
"Hey iggy" She said
"You know I can't stay long" she added
"I know dear, just call it a dying mans last wish" I walked over to her and pulled her into a hug and she began to cry
"I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough" she cried
"It's okay honey, he came out amazing anyways, he's got a stable job, a girl friend and he's taking over on his own accords. He is all grown up now" I re assured her and she nodded
"Really"
She said
"Yes dear" she let go and grabbed my face
"Thank you"
She kissed me and let go
"I love you" I said and she began to cry again
"I love you to honey" she smiled
And so as a dying mans wish, I got to see the only love of my life for the last time.
I understand why she didn't want to stay and I was okay with it.
She was a flame that didn't want to be put out yet and I've always known she belongs to me alone.
I was okay with what she wanted
I was okay with why she left
I was happy knowing she loved me
And I loved her.
I was at peace.
