Chapter 6

Mikes POV

When she said that my face turned the shade of a strawberry.

"Oh ok," I said as u started to get up. I heard shuffling in the bed which I assumed was Max making room for me. I grabbed the blanket I was using and got in the bed next to her.

I could feel the warmth that was left after she had moved positions. I turned to look at her, her eyes were open and they were staring at me. Her eyes were my favorite part about her. They were ice blue and made you feel like you were melting into them and you could never escape.

I watched her close her eyes as she said, "thank you." Even after she closed her eyes to drift into sleep I couldn't stop looking at her. I could hear soft snores coming from her mouth. Her hair was behind her ear revealing the beautiful mess of freckles on her face. I eventually drifted off into sleep thinking about her.

I woke up a felt warmth next to me. I looked down and saw Max's head on my chest. My arm was around her waist and her arms were holding my torso. I didn't move as to not wake her. I stayed looking at her until I saw her eyes start to flutter open. I closed my eyes to make it look like I was sleeping. I felt her head tilt up to look at me and I heard her silently giggle. Her giggle was very cute. I felt her get up and leave then bed, I decoded to wake up from my fake sleep.

"Good morning sleepy head." She said and smiled at me.
"Good morning." I said.
"Get up we have school." She said as she grabbed my arm to get me up.
"Noooooo, I dont wanna gooo." I wined.
"Well we have to." She said as she successfully pulled me off the bed. I fell to the floor.
"Ow what was that for?" I asked and made a pouty face at her.
She giggled and said,"You had to get up. We have to go to school."
"Ughhh fine." I said as I got up to go get ready for school.
