Donna

''Lily I really do need to get laid.''

These famous last words are the reason why I'm standing in the cold in front of my apartment building at 9:30pm.

Lily is picking me up with a taxi and together we will ride to Obsidian, I have a hard time believing that Lily will be able to get us inside. Obsidian is a new exclusive club in Soho, a new den for famous musicians, models, artists or just rich people with enough money to buy their way in. Since Lily is a bartender in a local pub in Leicester Square I doubt she can cough up the amount of money to get us inside. But we'll see...

It might be spring but the evening has a chill to it and I regret not bringing a jacket. It took me three hours deciding on what to wear, sending pictures to Lily for approval. As soon as I agreed to go ''man hunting'' she assigned herself as my wing woman and I'm still deciding if that's good or bad.

A taxi pulls up before me and Lily steps out. Her legs go on for days in a tight, short denim dress with buttons all the way from her cleavage to the hem. She's wearing yellow high-heals and a yellow bracelet is dangling on her left wrist. Her hair is softly curled and falls delicately down her shoulders.

When Lily sees me she whistles on her fingers and gives me a cheeky grin.

''Damn Donna.''

That's the exact same thought I had when I looked in the mirror. I don't look as hot as Lily does but I look... good. I look good. A 50's inspired A-line red dress clings to my curves and falls just above the knee, flowers are printed all over the fabric. A slim black belt with a cute bowtie accents my hour-glass figure even more and the black velvet T-strap heels finish the look. Since my hair is a never ending mess I decided to let it rest and messy black curls fall down my back.

Like I said, I look good.

''Damn yourself Lil.''

Lily's grin widens and she opens the door for me. ''Hop on in.''

I enter the taxi and not long after Lily shuts the door, she tells the driver the address and soon we're on our way to the hottest club in London.

To say the line in front of Obsidian is long is an understatement, as long as the Great Wall of China would be a better comparison. I give Lily a dubious look but she seems to take it all in with glee.

''We could always just go to a pub you know.'' For a second I'm not sure if my voice can be heard over the chatter of all these people but when Lily turns around and gives me a look of disgust I'm fairly certain she heard me.

''I told you I am going to get us in and I will.'' Without further ado she marches past the line towards the front where a bodyguard stands beside big double doors. The club is a huge white building in Victorian style and on the roof flashes Obsidian in cursive and neon pink. I hurry behind Lily trying to ignore the stares and rude comments made by the people whom have apparently been waiting for hours.

Feeling like a bitch I stand beside my best friend while she's chatting up the bodyguard.

''Neil I rescued your dog from drowning last week, stop being a little bitch.''

My eyes widen when I look at my best friend, I might have a foul mouth but Lily has a fouler one. Neil— the bodyguard— merely lifts one eyebrow but looks totally unimpressed with being called a little bitch. Although Lily could've skipped the little part, Neil is build like a tank and is easily 6''7 tall.
