Chapter 4 — I Love You

Leif's POV

The night has visit. My girl hasn't woken up still. The guys walks in every now and then. Other than Asch. He sits on his own throne, thinking Daemos gods knows what.

I put my hand on Alliana's forehead, healing her might help her wake up in the morning. She should. If she doesn't, I have nothing to do now.

My powers runs through my veins, to my hand on Alliana's forehead. She stirs a bit then that's when I stopped. Did she felt it? Is she going to wake up? Sadly, moments passed. She didn't wake up.

My feet carry its way to the bed, so I'm laying down beside her. I face to her, and she faces on the ceiling. I forcefully face her to me, but softly. A strand of hair covers her face, but I push it away to the back of her ear.

I remember when we were back at Daemos, we used to do this. We lay beside each other, in our parents bed. Some people think we're a couple, because we don't look alot like each other. But we enjoy this kind of company.

We would also touch each other's cheek before going to sleep. Sing the same song we made up as kids. Knowing that we won't leave each other's side that easily. We were inseparable. Until the day we work with the royal family, we became distant to each other.

Awkward conversations, sneaky glances. We weren't like what we used to be. We were so busy with our duties, and we didn't even have time for ourselves. Then it got us real bad. We no longer yearn for each other, until the day we made this journey up.

Her feelings are also fragile, that's when she fell in love with the prince. Asch treats her badly, not lady-like. He would treat her exactly like a servant, than they were before. They were only kids, Asch would always sneak out the castle just to see her.

Then one day, he never came. That's when she decided to be a servant, just to know how he is everyday. However, Asch wasn't the boy she knew. He's completely different. Though, Alliana takes her time just to be with Asch. No longer needing me. Forgetting me.

I couldn't bare it. I want her to be with me again because all I had now is her. I might be so obsessed with my sister, but I just want her to stay. That's when I start to dislike Asch a little.

I noticed that, whenever he threatens or says something to Alliana that scare her away, she always comes back to me. If Asch would just continue doing it. But I also don't want her to be hurt.

Putting my hand around Alliana's shoulder, I pull her to my chest. Kissing her forehead, telling her that I miss her dearly. I blush when my mouth just sang the words we sing as kids.

"I open my eyes to see you.
You wake me up,
Stand me up,
And build me up in place.
Oh you never cease to amaze me."

I chuckle at the memory, when I try to stand her up from sleeping. She collapse on the floor, falling back to sleep almost immediately.

"Never in our lives we have let go,
Even if you have to go,
But we always know where to come back to.
Oh to you."

I sigh, at the memory that we did let go. But we did come back to each other. Again. Just like the old times.

"Oh brother will you never stop looking for me?
Oh sister I will always lend a hand for you to reach me.
