06: Conversation

I walked lazily, going to school, with my mind wandering in outer space. The thought of Natsu being my partner for our project bothered me so much. I know that he didn't want me to be closer to him so I wonder where this project would go? I can't have a failed grades!

Yesterday, I tried approaching him about it, but he kept on ignoring me! That little... Geez! Whether he like it or not, we'll talk about this--

"Ouch!"

I was about to turn left but someone suddenly bumped onto me, making him fall on the ground. Blinking, a gasp had gone through my throat as I ran to help him stand. He's a kid with a sky-blue hair and a bit of white highlight on his bangs. On his hand was a plastic with water and small gold fish inside.

"I'm sorry!" I scanned his body for bruises, finding one on his elbow. I quickly searched for my band-aid in my bag and kneeled in front of him to put one on his bruise. "Does it hurt?"

"A little bit..." he replied, staring at me. His big eyes blinked twice, recognition was visible in them as he ran his vision all over my face. Looking away, he pouted. "You became prettier..."

"Huh?" My eyebrows furrowed, especially when I earned a small smirk from him. I shook my head in amusement, and gave him a pat on his head. "Thank you."

"You're studying at Fairy Tail University?" he asked seriously as he looked up to me when I stood straight. I nodded at him.

"Yeah. It's fun to study there!" My energetic friends appeared in my head, making me grin so wide. But my grin slowly faded when he rolled his eyes. Okay, this kid was a bit weird.

"Tch! I'm sure that guy will be more attracted to you once he met you again," he whispered, but still loud enough for me to hear.

"Who?"

Before he could answer me, an old man in a suit was running towards us. I looked back at the kid when he started panicking, looking around as if searching for a place where he could hide.

"Oh, crap! See you around!" I watched him run away, still dumbfounded.

"Wait, Young Master Happy! Come back here!" I heard the old man shouted as he ran after the kid. So his name is Happy? What a cute name...

But then, my smile faded when I remembered the time. I looked at my wristwatch, seeing that it's already 6:55 AM! Shit!

I spent my whole morning class in gritting my teeth and trying my best holding back my irritation. Natsu couldn't do anything but to purposely piss me off by kick my chair repeatedly! What the hell is his problem?!

"Stop it, Natsu!" I spat and turned around so I could glare at him. He grinned widely, playing innocent.

"What?"

Narrowing my eyes, I gave him one last glare before standing up to approach Levy. She's staring suspiciously at me.

"What's with the look?"

"Let's talk about it later," was her only reply as she stood up and encircled her left arm on my right. We walked out of the classroom, heading to cafeteria. And Natsu's laugh was the last thing I heard before we left the room. Please!!!

"Levy-chan! Could you check if Natsu put something on my back?!"

If that jerk really did something funny, I'll really kick his ass!
