Chapter 4- Marcus Collins

Whether it was about the bright sun, the colorful flowers, or the chirping birds, we didn't show any means of stopping.

I couldn't see 'his' face, but I felt very comfortable, it's like I've known him forever.

Hadley P.O.V

It was my first time having a dream like that.

I let it slip my mind.

I took a bath and eat my breakfast.

There's school today. Sadly. But since I can see my friends, I just hastened my steps.

Narrator's P.O.V

Hadley took her breakfast and her bag as she walked to school.

When she arrived, she saw her friends waving at her.

She quickly ran to them.

"Good morning!" Stella said.

"Yeah, Good morning, Had." Kiara also said.

"Good morning." Hadley greeted back.

They kept talking until they finally arrived at their classroom.

"Hey, I heard that an old student will come back today." One of the girls murmured.

"Yeah, and I was told that he is very handsome! Gosh, I'm so excited!" Another girl replied.

The whole class was swept with the topic.

Their chats were interrupted as their homeroom teacher arrived.

"Class, I am here to announce that you will have another classmate today."

Hadley wasn't listening, but both Kiara and Stella were interested.

Just when someone walked in, all of their eyes were focused on the young man that was now, their new classmate.

"My name is Marcus. Marcus Collins." The guy said as he smiled, causing the girls to blush.

Kiara was stunned for a moment.

So was Stella.

When Hadley heard his name, she also couldn't help but look at the guy.

'Did he just say...

M-MARCUS?!?' The three of them thought.

Kiara's flashback

"Kia... I wanted to tell you that... I'm leaving." Young Marcus said.

"What do you mean?" A young Kiara asked.

"We're moving." he said with disappointment visible in his eyes.

"When will you come back?"

"I'm not sure if I'll be back, but please tell Had to wait for me."

The young Kiara was shocked.

"Marcus... Do you like Hadley?" she said as she felt pain in her heart, but covered it up quickly.
