Jisung quickly picked up his bag and turned towards the sidewalk, pulling up google maps to find the closest coffee shop. There was one that was around a twenty-minute walk from where he was right now. He shrugged, it would have to do. Jisung quickly began to walk in the direction of the cafe.
He barely made it a few steps when he felt...rain?
Jisung looked up, the sky had indeed begun to darken, storm clouds covering the brightness of the sun. The boy cursed under his breath, quickly opening his bag to look for an umbrella.
But of course, the one day that it had started to rain just happened to be the one day he didn't bring an umbrella.
"Jisung!"
the boy turned his head to see Chenle, head poking out from an open car window.
"Do you need a ride?" Chenle asked.
Jisung looked at him, feeling unsure about what to do. Chenle probably thought that he just needed a ride home so if he agreed, would he have to tell Chenle the truth?
"I'm okay I think," Jisung said, giving a weak smile.
And as if on cue, the rain started to pour even harder, thunder beginning to rumble through the clouds.
"Are you sure? I don't think it's safe," Chenle said, a concerned expression spread across his face.
Jisung paused. He really didn't know if he would be able to make it to the cafe in this weather. The stormed was already pretty bad and it only looked like it was going to get worse.
Jisung sighed and picked up his things, walking towards where Chenle was sitting in the passenger seat of the car.
"Are you sure you don't mind? I really don't want to cause you any trouble," he said, still feeling a little hesitant.
Chenle smiled. "Jisung, it's fine."
Jisung couldn't help but smile. "thanks," he replied.
Chenle nodded, getting out of the passenger seat and moving to sit next to Jisung in the back. He smiled and Jisung couldn't help but admire his beautiful features again.
"So do you want us to drop you off at home?" Chenle asked after he was seated inside.
Jisung hesitated. "I actually don't have anywhere to go-"
Chenle's eyes lit up. "You can come to my house!" he said excitedly, then paused before adding, "only if you want, I understand if you have somewhere else to be."
Jisung chuckled at the other's cuteness. "Are you sure parents will be okay with it?" he asked, not wanting to intrude.
Chenle just nodded, telling the driver where they were going before leaning back into the seat. He tilted his head to look at Jisung, giving the younger a shy smile before turning back towards the front.

Chenle quickly unlocked the door and stepped in. It was still raining hard outside and both boys were close to being completely drenched in water by the time they reached the door of the house.
Maybe it was because of how hard it was raining, but Chenle's front driveway was so large that Jisung wouldn't be surprised if it was actually because of the distance the two ran to get to the door.
Once they were both safely inside, Chenle burst out into a fit of giggles.
Jisung looked confused, but seeing Chenle laughing made him chuckle too, even if he didn't know why Chenle was laughing.
