"Please pick up the phone," Mark mumbled to himself hopefully.

He had been trying to reach Chenle for almost half an hour now. The latter wasn't picking up, and Mark was starting to get worried.

He was just about to give up when he heard the phone make a dinging sound, signalling that it had connected.

"Chenle? Where are you? Why haven't you answered any of my calls?" He asked hurriedly.

Mark heard the other chuckle from the other end. "jeez hyung, chill. I'm fine, I'm with Jisung right now."

"don't tell me to chill! I was worried!" he retorted.

"We were enjoying nature and Jisung took away all my devices, so I couldn't contact anyone. We're at a cafe right now though, he said I could have my phone back for ten minutes," Chenle said as if that was the most normal thing on earth.

Mark finally relaxed. There was absolutely nothing normal about that statement, but he decided to let it go.

"Do you know when you guys are going to get back? From exploring nature I mean," He asked.

Chenle seemed to pause for a second before speaking. "Well Jisung and I might've decided to go on a spontaneous camping trip," he said, hesitantly, "we won't be back until another two days."

Mark's jaw dropped. "what?"

"You can join us if you want!" Chenle offered excitedly.

"I think I'm okay, you guys can enjoy your camping trip together," Mark said slowly.

"Please Hyung! I promise it'll be fun!" Chenle exclaimed again.

Mark thought about it. Maybe going on a camping trip wouldn't be a bad idea. After all, it might even provide a distraction from his recent thoughts about a certain tan boy...

Reluctantly, he accepted. "fine."

"It'll be worth it," Chenle promised. "we wanted to start a campfire tonight, but neither of us know how. It's a good thing you agreed because if you didn't we might've ended up setting the whole forest on fire," he laughed at the thought.

Mark couldn't help but roll his eyes. It was certainly true though. He made a mental note to never leave Chenle and Jisung unsupervised in a forest.

"Send me your location?" he asked.

Chenle quickly agreed. "Yeah I will. Come quickly though, We want to start the campfire soon!"

Mark laughed. "Okay, I'll be there soon."

Not long after hanging up the call, he received a text from Chenle telling him their location.

Mark smiled to himself and quickly began packing his bag. Just a few sets of clothing, toiletries, and anything else he thought he would need.

Fifteen minutes later, he was ready to go. He pulled up the location that Chenle had sent him and was lucky enough to find a bus route that would take him right there. Or close enough, at least.

Mark couldn't help but think about how ridiculous this all was. If he was being honest, he had never done anything this spontaneous in his entire life.

Well, there was always a first for everything, right?

"Look there's Mark!"

Chenle's loud voice could probably be heard from a mile radius.

Mark could make out the faint sound of Jisung trying to shush the older while Chenle struggled to pry his arms from Jisung's grip.
