3rd person view(chap. 68)

Taeyong:"literally what is going on?"he spoke up as he walks into the backyard of Chenle's private villa,seeing so many things,not knowing what half of them are.

Chenle:"game night!!"
Jisung:"we're making teams of two,one judge,last man standing wins a prize!!"
The two excitedly explained as everyone was now here.
Taeil:"I'll be the judge.I am the single one.."
Kun:"what about me?"
Lucas:"yeah my girlfriend dumped me as well so I don't think I can play either..."
Chenle:"the more judges,the better.No cheating that way
Hyuck:"Kun and Lucas can be one team!!"he spoke up,but everyone looked at him knowingly
Jeno:"everyone knows you're a cheater Hyuck.No going away with this this time.We play fair and square"
Taeil:"okay people!!Get into teams of two!!"
Everyone goes to their partner,the thought of a friendly competition not sounding as bad as it firstly did...
Hyuck:"we're winning one way or another"he spoke up once again with a proud smirk
Jaehyun:"dream on Yuckie.The prize is ours"
Johnny:"what even is the prize?"
Chenle:"A gift card.For anywhere you want."
Renjun:"how much"
Chenle:"you'll see"

And with that,the couples stood in a line,waiting for the three hosts to start the competition.Chenle gave them a list of all the games they own(which is basically anything you want) and the three talked about the rules and how they would host all of this.

Lucas:"okayyy!Welcome to the first ever championship of the couples.We're your hosts,who will lead you through the games and in the end,only one couple can win the title of the best couple.Shall we get started?"
Kun:"first,we will have a pretty simple battle.We will have a race,through an obstacle course.The two of you must complete each course one by one,either of you has to complete half of the obstacles.The order doesn't matter,you just both have to have the same amount of completed courses"
Taeil:"the order does not matter,since we will determine the winner with which couple completes the course the fastest.In round one,out of the 9 couples,only 7 can proceed to the next challenge"
Lucas:"who wants to go first?"
Silence.
Kun:"okay okay...let's have one from each team play rock,paper,scissors..okay?"
The individuals step forward,their competitiveness suddenly rising and the order has now been chosen
Lucas:"starting off with Doyoung and Jungwoo.When you hear the whistle,you may start.If you start running before the whistle is blown,you get additional 5 seconds"
Taeil:"keep in mind,the order you chose to complete the tasks with does not matter,just make sure you each do half"
Lucas:"...ready?set.-"and the whistle is blown
The both start running towards the first task,throwing two dices and getting a total number that is less than 5.
Jungwoo starts throwing the dices,the little boxes not having a total lower than 9.
Doyoung:"throw one at a time.That means you can see if the first one is small enough.Throw one after another until it's low enough"he guides the younger,standing right next to him.
After the Male threw a total of 3,they start running to the next task,bottle flipping.Flip two bottles,they of course,have to land.
Jungwoo throws them for about 10 times before they both landed,letting them proceed.
They got to the tast where they needed to climb over a pretty high wall which had a rope,rocks or holes for you to choose how to get through.Jungwoo quickly goes to the rope,deciding he was probably gonna finish fast.
And when he finally got to the top,deciding to jump down to save time,it was Doyoung's turn to complete three tasks.
He sees flat rocks,quickly analyzing in what order it would be best to stack them up,so they would not collapse.He quickly starts stacking them up and finishes pretty quickly.
Then it was the little obstacles,tires and strings.He had to get through the tires that were glued together,so no going in between and walking through the strings,like they were detecting lasers,but without the detecting and laser part.
He gets stuck in one of the tires,since it was probably the only way to complete this part of the race,trying to complete this part as fast as he could.He then gets to the strings,walking in between,over and under them with a fast pace.
And lastly was the sprint section,while Jungwoo already waited for him at the finish line to save time.He runs and presses the button as he finishes the course.
Lucas:"3 minutes and 50 seconds!!"he yells as he checks their time,the two quickly hugging to congratulate each other.
Kun:"now that you have all seen how the first couple did,let's have the next couple up!!"
Since they set the order by playing rock,paper,scissors,the next couple walks up while the others stand in line.
Lucas:"okay Chenle and Jisung are up next...you guys ready?"
The two look at the hosts and nod with a proud smirk,ready to win this thing.
