Part 8 ~ Meanwhile inside...

~ Commander Erwin Smith’s Office

Erwin leaned back in his almost regal wooden chair. His office was big, and the walls were lined with bookshelves. To the right of him was a big map with bits of paper pinned to it, showing notes, strategies and diagrams. His desk was clear, apart from a pot of pens on the left. He looked absently out of the wide windows opposite him, hearing the new boy's voice outside the door. Levi seemed to be giving him a tour. Levi was right. He thought, Petra was a bit…involved. And very drunk. Well, at least the man hadn’t started much with her. It’s not like Levi went searching through men’s beds, but I wonder how he found her… Petra is lonely, it’s not easy for her since her brother died, and Levi should be more kind… I’ll help get them together. For Petra’s sake, and Levi could do with a bit of defrosting. It’ll be fun. Now who should I ask?
