~ The Broom Cupboard
Eren curled up with the mops and brooms in the darkness, sobs wracking his body, hot tears streaming down his face. The pain in his heart made him feel like he was shattering. He heard Mikasa shouting his name somewhere nearby, outside in the light, but he only crawled into the darkest corner of the small room, so even when someone opened the door to search for him the line of golden light from the crack in the door didn't betray his hiding place. He rested his head against the wall and felt his sobs slowly abate. He fell into a troubled sleep soon afterwards.
Before he succumbed to his exhaustion, his last thought was of Levi and how his heart ached him. How can I still love you, Levi Ackerman?
