NONE

In Ray's bedroom we could only hear the munching of Casey who was on Ray's bed eating chips. Ray nowhere in sight.

"How long are you going to pretend you are dead and wish for the earth to swallow because I really want to ruin that dream for you." Casey said, swinging her legs so they touched the carpet and see Ray in a skewing position with face towards the ground hands tightly by his side.

He groaned. " let me have my moment of death." Adding further under his breath, "even though you are the death."

"Hey boy you know I can hear you? Like the hearing range between you and me isn't even an arm length." Casey continued munching her chips.

"Sigh. How many redos I'm going to do until they become perfect for Berry." He replied, voice muffled.

"Until they are not life threatening to Berry you mean." She snorted in amusement like it was funny how Berry was always attacked on his dates, that too by himself.

"Are you going to be useless again, Knight?" He said turning his head to the side to breathe. "And stop eating my chips, you'll become a hippopotamus with oil dripping from your face like rain and ugly pimples."

Casey mock gasped. "I had an idea for your date but it seems like you are on your own buddy." She smirked drawling the "buddy" to show her evilness.

"Something isn't going to go right." He muttered under his breath , shivering a little looking at the scary face Casey was pulling.

BERRY

I rubbed my head again. It wasn't hurting anymore but the bump was enough for my mom to start lecturing me.

I sighed retreating to my room lest she finds out that it was unknowingly Ray's mistake and fight him or worse sue him.

I threw myself on the bed thinking about last night. It felt so special and I was a little worried he could hear my heartbeat that was thumping against my chest like a traitor.

Conversations with him flow easily like it did when we became friends. I didn't know at that time that all this fluttering in my chest was because I like him more than that.

Omo! I like him more than a friend. It feels so weird confessing it to myself. I rub my chest trying to calm my feelings instead of imagining scenarios with him and me.

For god's sake I'm a well functioning adult who is going to graduate soon.

The best way to tackle this is to just pretend I'm dead. Yes that works a hundred percent.

Just as I was descending myself to hell my sweet, perfect and angelic sister showed herself. I'm being sarcastic if you can't feel it.

Then she threw herself on my bed taking up most of the space, like hello! I'm here, this is my bed, what are you doing?

She just wriggled around like a worm before she asked, "How was your date with Ray?"

How did you know you little son of- no wait that would be me.

"Hmm." Just because she is my sister doesn't mean I will tell her all the things happening in my life.

"Did you two bang?"

"Hm- WHAT?" I yelled out of disbelief. I knew she always seemed suspicious but like this?

"Yeah, look at the bump on your forehead." She smirked trying to change what she meant but isn't exactly changing it so she means it innocently but she is actually not.
