Allie's POV

I'd been the new kid at school for about 3 weeks now.

I LOVED living with the guys and Sam.

But I still only had two best friends: Luna and Bumblebee.

One day at school, I was sitting alone at a breakfast table.

The guys and Sam were sitting at the table next to me.

Being an orphan had made me an outcast.

I was so upset I pushed my breakfast to the center of the table.

"Hey. You mind if we sit here?"

I looked up and saw two girls staring at me.

"Sure, I guess."

They sat down across from me.

Luna barked.

"Quiet. They're okay, girl."

"Your name's Allie, right?"

"Yeah. Well, it's actually Aliana. Allie for short."

"You're new here, aren't you?"

"Yeah. I've only been here for 3 weeks."

"Well, my sister and I noticed that you're sitting alone."

Logan's POV

We'd been watching Allie meet the two girls.

When one of them said that, James and I got up.

We walked over and sat down next to Allie.

"Hey! You two got a problem with Allie? We heard what you said. Leave her alone!"

"Logan, they're fine. They meant that in a comforting way."

"Not now, kid."

"Wait a minute. Aren't you two from BTR?"

"That's right. And Logan and I don't appreciate you two picking on Allie like that."

"James is right. We adopted her 3 weeks ago. She's our baby sister now. So, just leave her alone."

"Logan, really. They weren't being mean. Right?"

"Yeah. Allie's right. Madison and I wanna be her friends."

"Okay. Kid, I'm sorry I snapped."

"That's okay, Logan. You were just protecting me."

"Anyway, Allie, Ryan and I were wondering if you wanted to have a sleepover with us this weekend?"

(Ryan can be a girl's name.)

"Sure."

"Not so fast. Allie, can you give us a second?"

"Sure, James. I gotta take Luna for a walk anyway. Come on, girl."

Allie and Luna walked out.

I turned to one of the two girls, the 18 yr old.

"What did you say your name was?"

"Ryan Moore. The 17 yr old next to me is my sister, Madison."

"Well, you two need to listen to me carefully. Ryan, you and Madison may have Allie fooled, but you can't fool us. James and I know that you two are just pretending. I'll tell you what: Allie can have a sleepover with you two this weekend. But if you hurt her AT ALL, even AFTER your sleepover, you are gonna WISH you never met her."
