New Puppy Pal

The Autobots rescue a young pup from a storm drain.

Allie's POV

Nearly 2 days had passed since Luna's death.

Apollo was still heartbroken.

Every morning, when I woke up, he was sleeping on her grave.

We'd been trying to cheer my puppy up, but nothing had worked.

When we got out of school the next day, I had to carry Apollo.

We were wondering which Autobot would pick us up.

A few minutes later, we heard a truck horn honking.

We turned around and saw Blazer driving up.

She pulled up and opened her passenger door.

"Get in, guys."

I put Apollo on the ground and we got in, which wasn't easy because of my injury.

Once we got in, I patted my uninjured leg and called Apollo.

"Come on, boy. Get in, little guy."

Instead of jumping in, Apollo just sighed and laid down on his stomach.

Carlos sighed and got out.

He picked up Apollo and handed him to me.

Once I grabbed my puppy, Carlos got back in and Blazer shut the door.

As she started driving us to the Autobot Hangout, she noticed that I was quiet.

"You okay, Allie?"

I shook my head.

"Blazer, I know your dad's death was two days ago, but I just feel terrible about it."

Logan grabbed my shoulder comfortingly.

"Come on, kid. That wasn't your fault."

I just sighed sadly.

"Logan's right, Allie. My dad's death wasn't your fault."

I sighed.

"Blazer, when I saw Megatron sneaking up behind Prime, I should've warned him. Because of me, you're heartbroken."

"It wasn't your fault, Allie. I may be heartbroken, but you didn't cause my dad's death. Megatron did. Anyway, I wanna know why Apollo looks sad. What's wrong with the little guy and how come Luna's not here?"

James sighed.

"Blazer, nothing's wrong with Apollo. He's heartbroken, just like you are."

"Awww. Why is Apollo heartbroken?"

She'd asked all of us, but Sam answered.

"Three days ago, Luna passed away."

"Uh oh. How'd she die, Allie?"

"Well Blazer, she was just getting weaker. The day that you grew up, we went to visit her, but the vet was there waiting for us. I had no choice but to put Luna down."
