WARNING! THERE WILL BE SOME DUTCH! THANKS FOR UNDERSTANDING!
A loud scream filled the air as Green and Trevor flew around. They had slipped out of a meeting with the excuse that they were "working on a plan". It worked. The others didn't follow them. Green steered towards the sound. They arrived at a large field. Trevor's eyes widened as he pointed at something. A large chunk of the current group of Dexters were on the ground, passed out. Green froze.
"No..."
Black was being thrown back as he spoke. Olindavil was cackling loudly. Black shakily stood up. He shuddered as she looked at him.
"Just die like the rest of them." He growled.
"Go to hell."
"You first."
"No..."
He stumbled as his sword appeared. He was desperate for a win. He went into a battle stance.
"No. This is my chance to prove and show myself! As the only fire Dexter, I will show my flame!"
Green froze. Black's flame? This was surprising. No one has seen his flame. This would be interesting. That's if he could without collapsing. Olindavil threw him back.
"Hopeless goal. Just give up."
Anger flared in Green. He looked at Trevor and noticed the same rage. Green stood up as Black was getting up. Give up? Green knew for a fact that Black didn't know how to do that. On second thought, every fire member didn't do that. They kept going. It was a rule. Part of the code. Only a real Flame knew what that meant. And Green saw that Black was already fuming.
"Give up? You better explain what that is. Cause I told you. I'm a fire Dexter! We don't give up! Not even if the worst opponents can make us!"
Olindavil laughed before sending him flying back. He slammed into a bolder and cracked it. Green clenched his fist as Black slowly got up and stumbled.
"I'm not giving up. Let the truth be told. I won't give up! My friends, former teammates, citizens, family, pokemon. They all believe in me! They're always in my heart! They're the reason I stand! No one can tell me otherwise! Let my flame IGNITE!"
A bright light shot down from the sky and landed behind him as he started chanting.
"Vlammen van waarheid en dood! Laat mijn zwaard de lucht raken terwijl ik mijn heilige vorm onthul aan degenen die tegen mij vechten! Terwijl de draken van waarheid en dood samenkwamen om deel te nemen aan deze strijd, roep ik op tot uw eer en geloof! Uw trots en gerechtigheid! Laat de vijand je kracht zien terwijl we ons laatste gevecht noemen! VLAMMENDE DRAAKBLOED!"
A flame larger than the light slammed into Olindavil with no hesitation. Kill? Who knows. But as it was fading, a fragment of the flames, smoke, and the light went up and made a distress signal. Black collapsed. Green instantly landed Charizard and ran over.
"Black? Black!" The young fire user opened his eyes and saw the duo. A smile of relief crossed his face as a soft voice came out.
"Green... Trevor..." He wheezed faintly as the flames vanished. Olindavil's ghostly cackle appeared as the smoke cleared. She smiled.
"Look who joined the party!" Green hissed as he stood up.
"You..."
"Aw... is something wrong?" Green's sword appeared on his back.
"Now I'm pissed. You don't do that!"
"Like you care."
Green gulped. She was right. He had worked so hard to split this group. But something was telling him to regroup with it. Was it... cause of Black? He was. after all, the only fire user right now. Not to mention he was barely awake. Green gulped his fear down and gripped his sword.
"You're right. But you don't crush a group to the point of obliteration and destruction! Especially when they're working to achieve something!" Trevor stood up and stood beside him. "This isn't a chance to show power. This is chaos to a reforming group! YOU LET THEM GO!" Olindavil opened her mouth when a voice overrode her.
"Exactly!" Black smiled as the other fire users (except Pink) landed. Sapphire helped him up while Gold bumped fists with Gold. Sun and Velvet were smiling evilly, probably because they ran from Red and the other Riddles. They turned to Olindavil, who cursed under her breath.
"As the flames of the Dexters and the smartest team, you will be obliterated!"
"Vlammen van eer! Laat onze hoop toenemen en zing ons geloof en onze bestemming! Laat onze kansen ontstaan en speel elke melodie van ons hart! Laat onze vlammen ontbranden!"
Flames roared to life as they held their hands up.
"VLEUGELS VAN EERLIJKE VLAM!"
The group, in sync, pointed their hands at Olindavil and flames roared around her. she didn't stand a chance as she vanished. Black smiled before collapsing against Sapphire. The others went over.
"T-th-thanks guys............. I didn't think.............." He mumbled as he fell asleep. Sapphire grimaced.
"How long was he fighting?"
"Depends on when they got here..."Green mumbled. Gold paused.
"He kept fighting.... for our group. For this group. He wanted us to reunite and fight one last battle. He doesn't care if we split again. He wanted one more battle. And with the others down, there wasn't anything better." Green looked at Black, who was murmuring something under his breath. A smile crossed his face, which surprised the others.
"No... one more battle, yes. But he wanted this to be more than a reunion. He wanted this to possibly... get more fire members. He's the only one." The others looked at the unconscious boy in shock.
"The only one? How could we leave him?" Green lowered his head.
"I originally wanted the Dexters to split. But between Purple's trio group replacing the dexes with replicas and the quad denying to return them, it wasn't going to work out. Then the others started rejoining... I should've thought it through..."
Gold reached out and wrapped his arms around the older male. Green paused as he returned the hug. The others joined in the hug. Green sniffled slightly.
"Thanks guys........"
"No problem. We all need to let out emotions eventually." Black twitch and opened his eyes.
"What..........." Green went over and held out a hand. Black paused before taking it. Green helped him up and hugged him. Black was confused as he returned it. "Green..........."
"Sorry for leaving you. I didn't think that you would do this." Black gulped weakly.
"Y-y-you're good....................... I just...."
The flapping of wings interrupted him. They looked up to see the grass trio looking down. Purple and Green locked eyes as smoke went down. The group except Black raised their hands as the smoke went to them. Their dexes appeared in their hands. Purple saluted as X picked up speed and they disappeared into the clouds. They smiled at each other.
"So... we're back in the game, huh?"
"Of course."
"We don't have all the fire users..." Black mumbled sadly. Green blinked before counting and realizing. Pink. Purple had said that she had a different reason then the others. Did she not see the signal?
"Pink..." He sighed. "At least the majority are here. We'll figure how to get her in later. Alright?" The group nodded. Sapphire smiled.
"Well.......... let's get these guys onto Troppy. They can't stay here." The others nodded as they started getting the group onto the large pokemon. Green turned and smiled.
"We're almost back together.......... and we're stronger than before..............."
