Chapter 8

Quinn's Pov:

"Okay Dad, Bye," I waved at Griffin as he waved back.

The warm breeze hid my face as I walked out of the SwayLA household. I walked out of the gates and got a text from Abby.

Abby💕

Abby💕: We are all here, where are you?
Quinn🖤: I just walked out the house, coming now
Abby💕: Okay ttyl
Quinn🖤: bye

Walked for 5 more minutes before I saw the school in the distance.

There was a group of 4 girls talking and laughing. I saw Abby, Kate and two other girls who I assumed were Jamie and Rachel.

One of the unfamiliar girl had long ginger hair and was wearing a white crop-top with blue jean dungarees. She also had a black backpack with the word 'Art' in fancy writing.
The other girl had shoulder length, brown hair with a black beanie on top. She was wearing a black t-shirt, grey jeans and a red plaid shirt around her waist. The girl didn't have a backpack, she was just carrying a few books in her hands just like Kate and Abby.

Kate must have saw me because she pointed at me, everyone turned towards me. I ran over to them.
"Hi Quinn!" Kate and Abby said and the same time which made us all laugh.
"I'm Rachel," the girl with ginger hair said and hugged me. When she let go, the other girl introduced herself.
"Jamie," we shook hands and gave each other a smile.

"Here is your schedule," Kate said and gave me a timetable.
"You have Math with Jamie, English with Abby, lunch with everyone, history with Kate, Art with me but your alone for free period." Rachel told me.
"All our lockers are in a row, that helps," Jamie said.
"Let's go!" Kate excitedly said and ran towards the school entrance.

People gave us weird looks as we ran into school together. The girls showed us my locker, Jamie's locker was on my left and Abby's locker was on my right. My locker combination was '2895' so I put the right numbers in. It opened.

It was just a plain empty grey locker.

I had six books in my backpack, I put 5 of them inside my locker and kept 1 book and some pencils and pens in my bag for math. Abby told me that I had 5 minutes between every class so I could get what I need from my locker. Since school food is shit, I brought my own lunch that I put inside my locker for lunch time.

The bell rang and we all closed our lockers.
"Let's go," Jamie said and lead me towards math class.
"By the way, the teacher is really serious so be careful about what you do," she gave me a playful smirk as I giggled.

"Okay cl-" Me and Jamie walked into the class room interrupting the teacher.
"Your late," she said and gave us a serious look.
"Sorry Miss, I was showing Quinn around the school,"
"Fine, Quinn just sit with Jamie," I obeyed the teacher and sat with Jamie.
