Chapter 9

Quinn's Pov:

Math class lasted 30 minutes which were the most boring plus confusing 30 minutes of my life. I learned that the teachers name was Miss Smith. Miss Smith gave us our homework which was just multiple math equations.

Me and Jamie headed to our lockers to grab our books for next class; English. Once I grabbed my English book from my locker, Abby led me to English with Mrs Hall. Abby said that she was a pretty chill teacher that didn't give much homework. I sat next to Abby in English and didn't really pay much attention to the teacher, she didn't notice luckily.

When the bell rang, the teacher gave us our homework on the way out. Kate, Rachel and Jamie were waiting outside me and Abby's classroom so we could walk to lunch together.
"I'm going to get my lunch from my locker, I'll catch up with you guys," they nodded and walked away while I started walking towards my locker. Their was no one in the hallways, just me and me alone.

There was silence until I heard footsteps walking towards me. I turned around to see a boy walked up to me.
"Can I help you?" I asked him.
"Rachel sent me here to show you where the cafeteria is," he explained.
"Are you Rachel's Boyfriend?"
"Yeah, name's Jack," I nodded shut my locker. (I put my lunch inside my backpack)

"This way," he started walking and I followed behind him.

We made it to the cafeteria. It was literally just a big room with many table that students were sat at eating lunch. I saw Rachel wave at me so I walked over to them.
"See you met Jack," she said as I sat down.
"Yep," I replied.

After around 20 minutes of eating and talking about random subjects, we all finished eating and decided to wander around the school. Firstly, we walked to our lockers and grabbed our book for our next classes.

The girls kind-of gave me a small tour of the school. I found out that we all have gym together because boys and girls are separated. I also learned that all the girls have after school activities, they all do different things:

Rachel is in the Art Club🎨
Art Club is every Monday after school

Kate is in the Cooking Club🍪
Cooking Club is every Wednesday after school

Abby is in the School band🎻
Band practice is every Thursday after school

Jamie is on the school Football team⚽️
Football practice is every Friday after school

"You can join the school band as long as you can play an instrument," Abby said
"I used to play trumpet, maybe I could try remember,"
"If you can play football then you can try out if the team," Jamie said
"Maybe,"
"Same with our clubs," Abby said referring to her and Kate's club.

"I'll think about if I want to join one,"
