Today is my first day of third grade at a new school and I'm really nervous my mom got a new job so we had to move again for the second  time and I had to leave everything that I know and starting to love. My mom is a medical worker and her job requires for her to move around a lot and hardly get to spend time with me but I'm use to it by now she always try's to find ways to spend time with me all that matters to me is that she's happy and if she's happy then I'm happy.

Right now stepping into the new school I start to get a little nervous I head into an office with my mom and we wait for the principle. While we are waiting I see this boy across from me I can tell he's pretty scared but trying hard not show it.

?: hi I'm principle chandler and welcome to Spring Hill Elementary where all your dreams come true

I know she practiced that one

C: and what's your name

S: serayah

C: that's a really pretty name

S: thank you

C: and you must be the mom Kanika

Ka: yes it's nice to met you

C: likewise and you must be Kenna and Bryson

Ke: it's...

C: shall we move on with the tour

Oh no she didn't

Bryshere pov

Today is my first day of school and I'm going to third grade my mom made me move schools because I was fighting a lot and she could t take it anymore. My mom works as a nurse she been wanting to be a nurse for time now and that's what's she accomplishing I'm really proud I keep telling her to follow her dreams and before she knows it she s going to be that best nurse in all of LA as long as she's happy I'm happy

Me and my mom are waiting for the principle to take us on this tour of the school then I'm going to start my first day of third grade as we're waiting I see this girl sitting across from us and she looks pretty nervous she has curly hair and pretty eyes but whatever. Once the stupidest principle on the earth finally finished introducing herself she showed us the school and then I headed off to class.

?: class we have a new student today name Bryshere I want you guys to treat him with respect and be nice

Class: yes miss Stacy

S: you can go sit right there sweetie

I go sit in the back like she told me and while I'm heading there I noticed the girl that was at principles office siting next to my desk.

B: you have a sharpener

S: yea (handing me one)

B: thanks

S: no problem so your new to the school

B: yup and so are you

S: what school did you go to

B: Grandview school for boys

S: oh ok

B: yup here's your sharpener

S: thx my cousin went to that school

B: cool

S: ok class let's start

Serayah pov

The rest of the day went on and it wasn't bad it was time for lunch and had no idea where to sit so sit next to the other new kid.

S: so do you have any siblings

B: (sighs rudely) no

S: oh so your an only child I get that I'm an only child so I understand you know it's kind of...gco

B: look I don't know what your trying to do but I don't want to talk to you ok I'm just trying to get through this year ok just leave me alone and I'll leave you alone ok

S: I was just...

B: I don't care what you were trying to do

S: ok (getting up and walking away)

After bryshere kicked me away I sat at a different table and ate my lunch. 

The rest of the day went by really quickly.

Ka: hey baby how was school on your first day

S: it was good

Ka: just because you didn't come back in tears or upset I'm going to take you out to dinner and get you ice cream after

S: yay

Bryshere pov

Ke: hey baby how was your day

B: it was fine

Ke: that's good

B: yup

Ke: well since you had a good day we can get that food that you been asking me to get you

B: really ma I can get Jamaican food with extra plantains

Ke: yea baby

B: thanks mom

Couple hours later

After I ate dinner I got in bed and watched tv while I was sitting there I couldn't help but feel bad for what I said to serayah all she was trying to do was be nice and I pushed her away I really should apologize.

Next day

Once I made it to school the next day I saw serayah and went up to her

B: serayah right

S: I thought you didn't want to talk to me

B: look about that I'm really sorry what I said I didn't mean it I know you was just trying to be nice start over

S: ok we can start over

B: good so where do we start

S: what is your favorite color

And for the rest of the day we just talked sat next to each in every class and became the best of friends.
