Chapter 04: 1/2

JENNIE POV.
"How can you know that there's something near you even though you can't see?"  I asked him, I took a sip on my coffee before I looked at him.

"Ever since i was young, my sense are very sharp especially my sense of smelling. I can determine any smell even if it already faded or still new." He said, I slowly nodded.

"So in short your level of smelling is ten times better than normal?" I said he nod his head.

"Yes." He happily said.

"Oh. So, if someone farted directly on your face, it would smell ten times worse?" He frowns.

"Who would fart diretly on my face?" I pause for a while.

"...i might." I stop.

"What?" I looked at him.

"So you already knew about my prensence before?" I tried to change the subject. Even before i helped him, i would go to my usual spot which is the slide and write stories there. He already going here and i don't know since when he started to go here regularly.

"You have a distict smell." I froze on my spot before i cough secretly.

"O-oh...what is it?" I said while looking at him confused.

"Wisteria." I'm so confused right now.

"Wisteria?" I repeat what he said.

'How did he know it is wisteria? I mean, does he even know what wisteria is?'

"I have an oil diffuser and i use the wisteria scent at home so i guess the scent clung on me." I said.

"Yeah, i like smelling your scent. I feel calm whenever i smell your scent." I chuckle.

"That sounds a bit..." i scoot a little farther from him. He sensed my action and giggles.

"I mean, you smell like...spring." he said.

"That's a good thing, right?"-jennie.

"Mhm, i love spring."-V

That made the corner of my lips tug upward a little. I simply take a sip of my coffee.

"Say..." i pauses.

"Hmm...?" He hummed. Waiting for what i said.

"I've been meaning to ask you..." i turn towards him.

"Why are you always here?" I said he pause before speaking.

"Ah..." his expression dropped dramatically. His grip on his mug tightens a little.

"I..." i notice that he's having a hard time saying what he wants to say.

"It's okay if you feel uncomfortable, you don't have to answer it."

"I'm waiting for someone."

'He's waiting for someone for this long?'

"Does...that someone know that you're supposed to meet here? I mean, i've noticed that you've been coming here for almost a month now."

"She knows..." he sighs quietly and hangs his head low. I don't know if it's my imagination, but his eyes seem watery and moist. He blinks hard and turns away.

"I don't know where she is now, but i'm sure she still remembers our promise. I'm sure she's doing whatever she can to come here." His voice is full of sadness and longing.

"I'm sure. She's all i ever have." My hearts aches just by listening to his words.

"I'm sure you're right. She must be doing whatever she can to fulfill you promise."
