~Chapter 2~

I'm already here in my dorm it's 5:48 PM. I grabbed my clothes and went to the bathroom to get changed.

In this School, we have dorms so we won't be late to go to school. By the way, I'm not alone here, I am with my senior, Florence. He was with me since I was in year 1 in high school.

*Someone knocked on the door *

"Hey Zypher, will you please do it faster? I'm about to weewee" ~ Florence

"Just wait for a little bit " ~me

"Oiiii! I can't take it anymore. Move faster, will you? " ~Florence

After I get changed, I sat down on my bed. Oh I remember that I have received a message this morning.

I took my phone inside my bag and read the message.

"Wanna play? Click this link " ~ message

I clicked the link I received. And then an app was downloaded on my phone. Maybe it was the game.

After the app was downloaded, I opened the app and then a message pops.

"Welcome to Play or Die. Each player in this game has 1 mission per week. Every mission has a corresponding number of points given by the game. The last man standing wins with a cash worth 100,000. Ready for the first mission? [Yes, No ]"

I'm curious about what this game is. So I clicked 'Yes'.

Maxus's POV,

I lay down on my bed right now still with my uniform is on.

"Why you are so early? I used to be in the dorm almost 6." ~Adrian, my senior

"Oiii! Our adviser just dismissed us early " ~me

"Really? " ~ Adrian

"Mhm" ~me

"Okay I'll call Mr. Peterson then" ~ Adrian

He really picked up his phone and about to call Mr. Peterson. Shiyaa

"No no no no!" *I held his hand* "I ran away from the cleaning assignment " ~me

"Hahaha, I knew it. You're a dead meat tomorrow "~Adrian

"Wait what?" ~me

"Mr. Peterson is just observing all of you from the first day of class. " ~Adrian

"Shiyaa" ~me

*message tone rings

I took my phone and opened the message. I have no idea what this is. I just clicked the link on the message.

"Welcome to Play or Die. Each player in this game has 1 mission per week. Every mission has a corresponding number of points given by the game. The last man standing wins with a cash worth 100,000. Ready for the first mission? [Yes, No]"

I clicked 'Yes' on my phone.

"For your first mission, you will have 30 points. Here's your mission... "

Zypher's POV,

I walked down at the hallway then suddenly there's someone who tapped on my shoulder.

"Hey" ~Nica

"Oh, whats the matter?" ~ me

"Im hungry, lets eat ouside" ~ Nica *hugging me*

"No I wont, and will you please stop bugging me? Go ask your new boyfriend, not me" *taking her hands off from hugging me*

I am talking with my ex, Nica. She is still obsessed but she was the only one who ask for a breakup...

*Flashback*

When I was studying high school, we were grade 8 that time. I and Nica were closed friends. Most of our classmates thought that we were already dating. But...

"Will you be my girlfriend?" - I dont know who that guy is but he is courting Nica

Many students are now smiling and yelling around both of them.

"No"

All of the students became silent as they turn their heads and look at me.

"She will not be your girlfriend, right Nica?" ~ arrogantly speaking infront of the crowd, holding her hand and brought her outside the school gate.

"What are you doing Zypher?" ~ Nica

I can see on her face that she is mad about what I did earlier.

"I dont want anyone to be your boyfriend." ~ me
"And why? Do you have a right to tell me like that?" ~ Nica

"Of course I do" ~ me

"You're just my frie...."

Nica didn't continue speaking because I kissed her. But, I thought she'll like it.

*Slap

"Why are you doing this Zypher?" ~ Nica, her tears dropped and her face became pale.

"I.... I want you to be my girlfriend" ~ me

"Why is it not so early?" ~ Nica, I can see on her face that she is blushing. She cant even look into my eyes right now.

"Can I be your boyfriend?"

"Yes" she smiled at me and hugged me.

But...

*after 1 year*

"Let's break up" ~ Nica

"Why? Did I do something wrong babe?"

"I... I... Ahh I cant explain" ~ Nica

"Why? I dont understand why did you want to break up."

"Nica" ~ another guy from her room

"Who is he?" I walk into her room and gave that rude guy a punch.

"Is this a reason why you are breaking up with me?" ~ I ask her with a high voice

"Mhm" ~ Nica, nodding.

"Okay fine. Lets break up" ~ walking to the door then I slam it aggressively.

*end of flashback*

Its already 2 months after we broke up, but still it hurts a lot for me.

"I still love you Zypher" ~ Nica, holding my two hands but I didn't look at her face.

"Stop this Nica. Im tired. You can't fool me again." ~ I shook my hand to make her hand let me go and I continued walking down.
