Chapter 2

Todoroki left a few hours ago and since then it's be silent between Izuku and Denki. They were praying to themselves that there friend would make it out alive. Silently they were both freaking out, usually these tests would take an hour, but its been nearly two.

"Kami?" Izuku asked bluntly to the other boy. Kaminari's head shot up from his hands as he sat on his bed contemplating life. He lowered it back to the ground again however and replied.

"Yeah?"

"Do you think he's alright?" Izuku questioned. Kaminari hummed at this and thought about it. Todoroki was no doubt the strongest out of the three, his power being half ice and half fire, it was no question who was stronger. That being said, Kaminari thought he'd be just fine.

"He's really strong, so yeah. I think he's okay. He's probably fighting more than one?" The last part came out more of a question than an answer but Izuku accepted it. He nodded his head and collapsed in his bed, staring at the ceiling. It was cracked and dirty. The color deteriorating away into a gray. There was nothing else interesting about it really, just plain and boring, but the longer he stared, the less boring it became. And soon he was swept up into a deep sleep.

Izuku found himself at a carnival, his mom's hand wrapped in his. He was 5 and quite small. Other adults towered over Izuku, not letting him see a thing. He didn't mind however and let his mom steer their way across the path leading to a game. Inko picked Izuku up and set him on the counter of the game.

"Which one do you want Zuki?" Inko asked pointing to the multiple stuffed animals. Izuku's eye's wandered the possibilities before finding the one he wanted. It was a wolf stuffed animal with ashy blonde hair. Inko smiled and turned to the worker to hand him money to play. He explained it to her carefully, if you knock 3 cups down you get a prize. Inko smiled a determined look settling on her face as she threw the ball. Izuku watched it knock a cup down. He started to pump his fists cheering her on. She threw another one and hit it, knocking down the cup. She had 2 balls left with one cup left to go.

Izuku watched carefully this time. Examining his moms eyes as they flickered between the ball and her target. He watched her pursed lips pout upwards as she aimed. She looked so confident and calm at the same time. This only hyped Izuku up. "Go mommy! You got this!" She shot him a smile and threw the ball. Almost as if it were in slow motion, Izuku watched the ball spin out of her hand and straight outward. It skimmed the top of the cup, making it wobble. Then Izuku's eyes followed as the cup toppled off the stand. His mom jumped up with a huge smile, arms shot up in the air. Cheering. Izuku jumped in her arms with a big hug. Inko returned the hug and grabbed the wolf plushie, handing it to Izuku. "Good job mommy!"

"Thank you Zuki for cheering for me. Couldn't have done it without you." Izuku smiled brightly and dropped back to the ground. Taking his moms hand in his again, his wolf plushie tight under his arm.

"Let's go watch the fireworks from the Ferris Wheel." Inko said, pulling Izuku with her. They loaded onto the Ferris Wheel and sat down, waiting for it to move. When it finally did, the fireworks started to go off. Izuku held the railing and looked out. The fireworks reflected on the lake below, rippling as the ground shook with each boom. Izuku looked up and watched the colorful colors shoot out and sparkle down. He then looked to his mom, her head was turned as she looked at them too. Her eyes reflected the fireworks as they sparkled in the night sky.

"It's beautiful isn't it Zuki?" His mom asked as she turned to Izuku. He smiled and shook his head rapidly.

"Very bootiful!"

His mom laughing echoed in his ears, making him smile once again.

"Izuku!" Izuku shot up from bed and looked around. He almost forgot he was locked up. Sighing he got up from bed and looked around. There were no guards in the hallway which was unusual. Izuku hummed.

"What?" He asked. It was Todoroki who had woken him up. He was glad to see him back.

"I heard there's a new guy." He said through the silence. Izuku tilted his head and walked over to his little window.

"Really? Have you seen him?" Izuku asked. He saw Todoroki shake his head no.

"I heard him shouting. He seems distressed." Todo replied. Then quickly he put his finger to his lips, shushing Izuku. They listened for a while before they both heard a scream, more like yelling from down the hallway. Izuku walked back over to his bars and watched down the right hallway. He saw a whole bunch of guards escorting a bed towards the cells. It inched closer only making the yells louder and louder until they stopped right in front of Izuku's cell. There was a cell in front of Izuku's that has been empty for a while. There used to be a guy named Kirishima in there, but he died a couple days ago. Izuku hummed as he watched.

The guy in the stretcher was flailing around. He had blonde spikey hair, red eyes that seemed to glow in the lights and a sharp jawline. (I had to add the jawline cuz like damn Kacchan 😏).

The guards finally opened the cell and put the guy in there. One guard went in with him to unstrap his arms and legs while the others waited outside, just in case he tried to escape. Once finally unstrapped the guard ran out and locked the door seconds before the man came running at it.

"Let me go you bastards!" He yelled, he put his hands out and created a tiny explosion. Izuku knew what happened. They tranquilized him with a special tranquilizer that took your quirk away for a while. It was used to make sure they didn't use it against them.

"Psst." Denki called out. Izuku walked to him.

"Yeah?"

"What's going on?" He asked groggily. He probably just woke up. Izuku chuckled.

"Guess we have a new cellmate." Izuku shrugged.

"What are you extras talking about?!" The guy yelled out. Izuku jumped up immediately afraid. He leaned up against his bars to look at the man. He was already looking Izuku up and down.

"We were talking about you. We don't get many new people down here in this cell section." Izuku replied. The reason being was because this section was for the more dangerous ones, or as they say. "So what's your name?"

The guy stared at Izuku for a moment before answering. "Katsuki, and I'm not here to make friends you nerd." Izuku smiled and put his hands up in defense.

"Well sorry big guy, but all you can do here is make friends." Izuku said with a smug smile. "Welcome to section 1-A."

"Yah, yah nerd."
