I awake to screaming and can hear someone pushing on me. My vision is black and I can't see anything.

"Rose! Come back to me baby!" I hear Andrew yell. We're moving. Where are we going? "Do something," he shouts. Suddenly I'm being poked and prodded all over and I start to get my vision back. Andrews face comes into my line of sight and a relief floods my body.

I life my arm up, reaching for him and he grabs my hand. I squeeze it lightly to let him know everything is okay.

"My baby" I wheeze out. The paramedics look at each other confused as they look down at my bleeding stomach. We come to a stop and Andrew jumps out, then the paramedics with me close behind them on the stretcher. Andrew is right back at my side and I'm being rushed into the hospital. "My baby. How's my baby?" I hoarse our again. No one answers. I look at Andrew and he has tears in his eyes. We reach a part of the hospital where he can't follow and his hand quickly slips out of mine. I let tears begin to fall from me eyes and my vision blurs.

I'm rushed into a room and they move me onto another bed as a mask is being put over my mouth and my vision goes black.

I slowly begin to open my eyes and I see a hospital room. 4 white walls and I'm hooked up to so many things. I look down and see a hand in mine. I swallow the lump in my throat and slightly pull it out. The man awakes and immediately pulls me into a hug and kisses me. I pull away and bring the blankets closer to my chest.

"Who are you? What happened?" I asked. He looks at me and a tear falls down his face.

"Nurse! Nurse!" He shouts. A lady in scrubs runs into the room and looks at me.

"Oh you're awake. The doctor should be in soon. Try to get some rest." She says. As she's walking out the door the man stops her.

"She doesn't remember me," he says looking down, his voice breaking.

"It could be from the anesthesia. Give it time sir." She says smiling politely and walking out.

He walks back towards me and I suck in my breath and scoot closer to the bed, pulling the blanket back up to my chest.

"I'm Andrew. You're fiancé. Please remember me baby." He says grabbing my hand and kissing it.

"Andrew?" I question. I pull my hand back and his face drops. "I'm sorry I don't remember you." He says.

The doctor walks in and he sees me. "Oh you're awake. Good. Now there's going to be some pain, but you and the baby are just fine." He says. My eyes widen and I look down towards my stomach. I place my hand over my belly and begin to cry. I want my mom.

"Can you please call my mom?" I ask the doctor.

"Sure we can get one of the doctors to call her. What's her name?"

"Susan Gray." I reply letting out a breath. I need my mom here with me.

I look over at Andrew and he swallows hard and clenches his teeth.

"If you're really my fiancé then my parents should know you, correct?" I ask.

"Rose..baby. There's something I need to tell you." He says. He looks away from me and stands, walking towards the window. He turns around to me and takes a deep breath, "Rose, your parents died in a car crash awhile ago." He says.

My throat closes up and I can't breath. Tears are falling down my face and I'm screaming. I can't stop. I can't see. Nurses run in and inject me with something that makes a warmth spread through my body and I pass out.
