Chapter 8: you failed! Kakashi's final decision

"Guess i have to look for sasuke and Sakura." I said
I ran to hide again.
I was hiding under a bush.
[ scream ]
"That sounds like Sakura!" I thought
I ran from where I het the scream.
"She got caught in a genjutsu" I said
Bend down
"Release" I said
Sakura sat up.
"Wh-What happened"Sakura said
"Yo" i said
"[ sheiks ] yuka! Where's sasuke?" Sakura asked
" I don't know, but I have a plan and I need yours, Naruto, and sasuke's help" I said
"I need to find sasuke" Sakura said she stared running
"Huh, guess I have to have a backup plan" I said
I did some hand signs.
"Shadow clone jutsu!" I said creating another me
"Okay so I want you to hide your chakra and follow me with out getting notice." I said
The other me nodded
[ scream ]
"Not again" I said running to the place I heard the scream.
I saw a passed out Sakura and sasuke well stuck underground.
"[laughs] does the doggie need help again?" I said with a smirk
"Hn" sasuke said
"What was that?" I said
"Yes I need your help again" sasuke said
I focus my chakra on my fist .
"Cha!" I said punching the ground
At first it was a small crack. But that small crack got bigger. Cracking the whole area we were.
I reach my hand to help sasuke. He hesitated but grabbed it. I pulled him up.
"Thanks" sasuke said coldly
"No problem doggie" I said
He went to Sakura to see if she's okay.
She woke up.
"Sasuke. Huh!" She sat up and hugged him "your okay!" Sakura said
"Hey, cut it ou! Let go! Let go!" Sasuke said trying to remove Sakura
"[ laughs ] I need your help sasuke" I said
"No, I almost got a bell by myself so I don't need your help" sasuke said
"Well than see you than" I said leaving
"After I helped everyone. They only care about them selfs or other." I thought
I sat near a tree after getting far from them.
"Hm? I guess your the only one left" Kakashi said
"Yeah I guess" I said
"Well than come at me" Kakashi said
"Even if I did I need the help of my teammates. In order to get the bells I need my teammates. But no matter what I did they are guys focused on themselves or others. In that case Sakura." I said
"Hm?" Kakashi said
I got up. I looked behind Kakashi and saw my shadow clone get behind Kakashi and got a bell.
"But I did make a back up plan and it seems it was a success." I said walking behind Kakashi and grabbing the bell from my clone. I undid the jutsu.
"Huh?!" Kakashi said with an wide eye
The alarm rings.
We head back only to see Naruto tied to a post.
I sweat dropped. Than everyone's stomachs expect mine stomachs was grumbling.
"Uh-oh. Stomachs growling huh? That's too bad. Oh, by the way, about this exercise? Well. I've decided, I won't send any of you back to the academy" Kakashi Sensei announces
"Ahhhh" Naruto smiles in disbelief
"What? I passed? All I did was faint and fall over. Do you get points for that?" Sakura asks
"..." I stay silent
Sasuke just smirked
"Baka's I tell you!" I thought
"Yahoo! Yahoo!" Sakura says as she jumps up and down
"Then then that means all four of us. I mean all four of us?" Naruto asks happily
"Yes. All four of you are being dropped from the program. Permanently!" Kakashi Sensei says sternly
  "Uh?"Sakura  said
"Hmm"Sasuke said
   "Ah!"Naruto said
"I'm going to kill him" I thought
  "Drop us from the program? That means we can never become Ninjas. You said if we couldn't take the bells, we'd be sent back to the academy! You can't just change your mind and kick us out! Why would you do that?" Naruto says angrily
  "Because you don't think like Ninjas. You think like little kids. Like brats except yuka" Kakashi answers 
Sasuke run to him, ready to attack 
"Haaa?"Naruto said
He ends up pinning sasuke to the ground
"You think it's all about you" Kakashi says
[Sasuke groan]
"Let go of him! You can't step on him like he's some kind of bug!" Sakura yells
"You don't know what it means to be a Ninja. You think it's a game, huh?"Kakashi says
"Uhh"Sakura says
[Sasuke Groan]
"Ahh"Naruto says
"Why do you think we put you on squads? Did you consider that question for one moment?" Kakashi Sensei asks with a veru serious look 
"Uh. I don't know what you mean" Sakura replies
"I mean. You never realize what this exercise is all about. Not even close"Kakashi Sensei says
"What's it about?" Naruto asks
"Yes. That's what determines whether you pass or fail"Kakashi said
"But that's. I mean I wanted to asks you about that from the beginning"Sakura says
  "Use your head. Three people on a squad. In your case four. Why do you think we would do that?"Kakashi says
"Ahhh!!! How are we supposed to know why you picked three people. We didn't make the rules!" Naruto yells
"It's so basic. Teamwork" Kakashi Sensei says
"Just working together. Is that what you mean?" Sakura asks
"That's what I mean. It's too late now. But if all four of you have come at me. You might have been able to take them. Well. Anyway. It's over"Kakashi says
"You set it up with four people but only three bells. If we work together and got the bells. Only three of us could keep them. That will lead to group conflict and the squad would break up" Sakura told him
"Exactly. I purposely pitted you against each other" Kakashi Sensei replies
"Mmm"Sakura  said
"Huh?"Naruto  said
"I wanted to see if you could overcome that and put the Squad ahead of yourselves. A Genin should have a natural feel for teamwork. But you. It never even crossed your minds. Well, except for Yuka" Kakashi Sensei said before he continued
"Sakura! You obsess about Sasuke who was gone. While Naruto was right in front of you and you wouldn't lift a finger to help him. Naruto. You do everything on your own. Everything.Sasuke thought the others were so far beneath you they were worthless. Arrogance And Yuka. You passed the test" says Kakashi Sensei
"Huh?" They look at him confused
"you tried to helped them and offering working together with them. But they all refused to even when you helped them. You refused to fight without your teammates but you were still able to get a bell without your team" he explains
"Huh?!" They all stared at me
I show them the bell
"Ninja missions are carried out in squads. Of course you need individual skills. But teamwork is the most essential element. Every Shinobi understands this. When individuals put themselves above the squad. This can lead to failure and death. For example" Kakashi Sensei take out a kunai from his pouch
"Sakura. Kill Naruto now or Sasuke dies" Kakashi said
Naruto looks worried and scared. Shifting his looks at Sakura and Sasuke
"That's what happens on a mission" 
"Oh boy. That was really scary"Sakura said Naruto lets out a sigh of relief
"The enemy takes a hostage and you've got an impossible choice. And someone ends up dead" Kakashi Sensei said while he returns the kunai in it's place 
"On every mission your life is on the line" He
gets up from Sasuke
I zoned out all I heard was KIA(killed in action)  and how his closet friends are on the stone thing. I walked to the stone. Making a cristal flower and placing it down before I got back to my spot.
  "Alright. I'm going to give you one more chance. But I'm gonna make it much harder on you. You'll have three hours to get a bell. Eat lunch now to built up strength. But. Naruto doesn't get any"  Kakashi said
"Grrr"Naruto says
"It's your punishment for breaking the rules and trying to eat by yourself. And if anyone tries to feed him, that person will imidietly fail"
"Guh"Naruto says
"I make the rules. You follow them. Got it" Kakashi said poofing away
Timeskip
We're eating lunch Naruto's stomach growls "This is no big deal. I can go without eating for days. For weeks. Believe it. This is no big deal [growls]. Uh... No problem"
"Hmm" sasuke said
Sasuke's gaze turns to Naruto
"Here" Sasuke say as he lift his lunch to Naruto
"You can have some of mine too if you want" I said offering my lunch
"Huh?"--Naruto 
"What? No Sasuke,Yuka , you guys can't do that. You heard what the Sensei said" Sakura points out 
"I don't see Sensei anywhere" I said coldly
"Kakashi's gone. We need to get those bells as a team. If Naruto is hungry he'll be weak and ineffective. That hurts the team and jeopartizes the mission" Sasuke explains 
"Um"Naruto said
Sakura look at her lunch. And gulp. She shove forward her lunch
She looks at Naruto and smile slightly
"Okay. Thanks" Naruto said as He look at her lunch meaningfully
"Don't thank me. Just hurry up and eat"Sakura said
"But isn't that your lunch?" Naruto asks
"Uh. I'm on a diet. I-I mean I don't need much as Sasuke. So, just take it Naruto"Sakura said
"I can't take it. Because I can't move my hands. You have to feed me"Naruto says
"Come on Sakura" I said trying to encourage her
"Hurry up. He can come back any minute" Sasuke said
"Ughh. This is one time only. That's it. I'll never do this again. Is that clear?!" Sakura ask-yells?(I don't know)
"Clear as a bell Sakura" Naruto grins 
The three of us take turns feeding Naruto  "You!"Kakashi  says
"Ahhhh"Naruto  yells
"Ahhh"Sakura  yells
"Urgh" Sasuke says
"...." i stayed silent
"You broke the rules. I hope you're ready for the punishment" says Kakashi Sensei 
He does hand signs
"Any last words?" he asks
Sasuke glares At him. Sakura and Naruto are trembling
"But you said"Naruto says
"Yes?" Kakashi questions
"You said that there were four of us. That's what you said. And that's why. Sakura and" Naruto said looking as sasuke
"We're all on this squad. And we're all in it together"Sasuke says
"None of us will be left behind" I said
"Yeah. That's right. We gave our lunch to him because the four of us are one"Sakura says Naruto looks at us
"Yeah yeah yeah yeah. Believe it. That's right" Naruto says
"The four of you are one? That's your excuse?" Kakashi said
"I'm hungry" I thought
"You pass" Kakashi smiles under his mask "Huh?"Sakura and Naruto said
"..."Sasuke stayed silent
"You. Pass" Sensei repeats before continued "You're the first squad that ever succeeded. The others did exactly what I said and fell into every trap. They couldn't think for themselves. A Ninja must see through deception. In the Ninja world. Those who break the rules are scum, that's true. But. Those who abandon their friends are worst than scum" He said as he looks up at the sky 
We all smile. Well. Except for the teary eyed Naruto 
"He's a, you know. He's kinda cool"  Naruto says
"The exercise is over. Everyone passes. Squad Seven starts its first mission tomorrow" Kakashi Sensei says before he show us a thumbs up
"Yes!" Sakura cheered
"I did it. I did it. Believe it. I'm a Ninja. Ninja. Ninja!" Naruto says
"Let's go home"Kakashi says
We start walking leaving Naruto
