"You're slow Naruto. Okay Squad 7...Hmm? The target has moved! Follow it!" Kakashi yells
We follow after the target
"Over there!" Naruto whispers
"What's your distance from the target?" Kakashi Sensei asks
"Five meters...I'm ready, just give the signal" Naruto whispers to Kakashi Sensei
"I'm ready too" says Sasuke
"Me too" I say after him
"So am I!" then Sakura
"Okaaayy......Now!" Kakashi Sensei yells
We jump out to grab the target. Naruto grabs the target
"I got him! I got him!" Naruto exclaims
The cat in his arms hiss and fights back
"You Dumbass! Don't scare the cat." I laughed pointing at him
Sakura and I watch Naruto and the cat
"Can you identify the red ribbon on the right ear?" Kakashi Sensei asks
"Ah! Ow. Aaaaahhhaahhh!" Naruto keeps yelling
"Affirmative. We've got a positive ID" Sasuke replies
"Right. Lost pet Tora captured. Mission accomplished" says Kakashi Sensei
"Can't we get a better mission than this? I HATE CATS!" Naruto yells
"Here give me the cat." I say
Naruto gives me the cat. And it stopped hissing and scratching. It lied in my arm. We go back to the Hokage's office
"Ooohhh! My poor little Tora, Mommy was so worried about her naughty little fuzzykins. Yes!" The owner says as she squish the cat
I sweat drop at the sight
"Ahahaha stupid cat! That kitty deserves to be squashed ahahaha" Naruto laughs
"Poor kitty" I said quietly as it reached for me
"But just look at it ahahahaha" Naruto replies "No wonder he ran away" Sakura sighs
"Now then for Squad 7's next mission we have several available tasks. Ahh. among them babysitting Chief Counselor's 3 year old, helping his wife to do the shopping, digging up potatoes, a--" Naruto cuts of Lord Hokage "Nooo!" Naruto exclaims as he makes an X with his arms
"I want to go on a real mission! Something challenging and exciting, not this little kid stuff! Come on old man!" Naruto yell
"He's got a point. But I could use a break from all the missions I had" I thought
"How dare you! You're just a brand new Genin with no experience. Like everyone else, you start with simple missions to develop your skills and prove yourself!" Iruka Sensei yells "Are you serious? Babysitting is not a mission! It's just a stupid--gaaah!" Kakashi Sensei hits him on the head
"Could you put a lid on it?" He says, tired of Naruto's complaints
"Naruto!" Lord Hokage yells
"Ahhh!" Naruto yells in pain as he sits up
"It seems that you do not understand the tasks you have been given" says Lord Hokage as Naruto rubs the back of his head Naruto goes silent and looks up at Lord Hokage
"Listen. Many different kinds of requests come into our village everyday, from babysitting to assassinations. These requests are carefully recorded, analyzed, then ranked A,B,C,or D. Depending on their difficulty. We Ninja are also ranked by ability. Hokage at the top, Jonin, Chunin, and Genin at the bottom. At the highest level, we select the missions and assign them to Ninja who have the appropriate skill and experience. And if the mission is successful, we receive a fee that supports our village and our work. Since you are untried Genin, just starting at the Shinobi path. You are given D-level assignments, of course. Hmm?" he pause, hearing someone else talking
" So I had this Tonkotsu Ramen yesterday. And I'm thinking Miso Ramen today--" Naruto says before getting cut off
"Silence!" Hokage yells
"Oh sorry" Kakashi Sensei rubs the back of his neck
"Ahh, you always lecture me like you're my grandfather or something! But I'm not the little brat who used to pull pranks all the time. I'm a Ninja now, and I want a Ninja mission. Hmm. Hmmph" Naruto says, crossing his arms and turns away from Lord Hokage with a pout "Hmm. I'm going to hear about this later" says Kakashi Sensei
"Says the guy who pulled that prank on Kakashi Sensei just two days ago" I whisper to Sakura and Sasuke
"Yeah" Sakura replies
Sasuke just nods silently
Lord Hokage starts chuckling
"Naruto wants us to know that he's not a brat. He's a former brat, and he wants a mission. So be it" hokage says
"Huh?" Naruto looks surprise
"Since you are so determined. I'm going to give you a C-ranked mission. You will be bodyguards on a journey" says Lord Hokage "Really?! Yes! Who?! Who?! Are we guarding a princess?! or some counselor?! Naruto asks excitedly
"Don't be so impatient. I will bring him in now" Lord Hokage smiles at Naruto
"Send in our visitor!" we all turn at the door and see a man walk in
"What the? A bunch of snot noes kids?!" the man takes a swig on his drink
"Huh?"Naruto said We look at him confused "And you. The little one besides the girl with the idiotic look on your face, you really expect me to believe you're a Ninja?" the man says
"Hahahahahaha. Who's the little one with an idiotic look on his--? Oh Huh?" Naruto stops mid sentence as he looks at me, Sasuke, and Sakura. The three of us move in on Naruto silently. Sasuke being the tallest, then Sakura, then Naruto, and lastly the shortest of the group, Me
"I'll demolish you! Let me get my hands on you!" Naruto yells at the drunk man
"You can't demolish the client, Naruto. It doesn't work that way" Kakashi Sensei says sternly, holding him back
"I am Tazuna. A master bridge builder and I must return to my country. I'm building a bridge there that will change our world. And I expect you to get me there safely even if it means giving up your lives" Mister Tazuna tells us
We go to the front gate of the village after packing our things
"Yaaaa! Alright!" Naruto yells
"What are you getting all excited about Naruto?" Sakura asks
"This is the first time I've ever left the village! I'm a traveler now believe it! Hahahaha" He says as he looks around
"Hey. Am I supposed to trust my life to this runt? He's a joke!" says Mister Tazuna, pointing at Naruto
"Hehehe. He's with me, and I'm a Jonin so you don't need to worry" Kakashi reassures
Naruto cross his hands together angrily. "Hey! Never insult a ninja. It's a big mistake! And I'm one of the greatest Ninja ever. Someday, I'm gonna be the Hokage and you're going to look up to me! My name is Naruto Uzumaki! Remember it!" Naruto exclaim Tazuna takes another swig from his drink "Hokage are powerful and wise. You are puny and brainless. The day you become Hokage, I'll sprout wings and fly" Mister Tazuna said
"Ah! Shut up! I'm willing to do anything to become Hokage, no matter what it takes! And when I do, everyone will have to admit that I'm the top Ninja, including you!" Naruto yells
"Heh, you can become Hokage ten times over, and to me you'll still be a nobody, a loser" Tazuna rolls his eyes
Naruto runs at him but Kakashi Sensei holds me back
"Ah. I'm going to make you pay for that, right now!" Naruto yells
"I told you, you're supposed to Protect the client, not Attack him" Kakashi Sensei sighs "Let me go! I'll show you!" Naruto yells

"Say, Mister Tazuna?" Sakura says politely "What is it?"
"You're country is the Land of Waves right?" "Yeah. What of it?"Tazuna asked
Sakura turns her attention to Kakashi Sensei
"Kakashi Sensei, there are Ninja in that country too, aren't there?" Sakura asked
"No, there are no Ninja in the Land of Waves. But, in other countries there are hidden villages, each with their own different customs and cultures, where Ninja reside. To the people of this continent, the existence of shinobi villages means strength, military strength. In other words, that's how they protect themselves and maintain the balance of power with neighboring countries. The Ninja Villages are not controlled by any government. They're independent, and have equal status. Now a small island like the Land of Waves has natural protection from the sea, so there's no Ninja Village. The five ancient lands that possess Shinobi Villages are the Lands of Fire, Water, Lightning, Wind, and Earth. They each occupy vast territories. Together, they are known as the Five Great Shinobi Nations. The Land of Fire has the Village Hidden in the Leaves. The Land of Water, the Village Hidden in the Mist. The Land of Lightning, the Village Hidden in the Clouds. The Land of Wind, the Village Hidden in the Sand. And The Land of Earth, the Village Hidden in the Stones. Only the leaders of these villages are permitted with the name 'Kage', which means 'Shadow'. Hokage, Mizukage, Raikage, Kazekage, Tsuchikage. These are the leaders, the five shadows that reign over thousands of Ninja" Kakashi Sensei explains
"No shit. I mean he may look weak but he is strong and wise" I thought
"Hey!" Kakashi Sensei calls. Breaking us away from our thoughts
"Huh?" I said
"You all just doubted Lord Hokage didn't you? That's what you were thinking" says Kakashi Sensei
"Ahh umm"Naruto says
Naruto and Sakura Shakes their heads side to side rapidly, fearful
"Well, anyway," Kakashi Sensei places his hands on top of my and Sakura's heads
"There are no Ninja Battles in a C-ranked mission so, you can relax"
"And we're not going to run into any foreign enemy Ninja or anything like that"--Sakura Kakashi Sensei chuckles
"Not likely" Kakashi says
As we walk. I notice a water puddle. I glare at the puddle as I walk but soon focus my eyes back ahead.
"Kakashi you see the puddle" I said
" you noticed too?" Kakashi asked
"Yeah, there's something his not telling us" I said very cold
"For now let's focus ahead. Keep this from the others." Kakashi says
I nodded
Soon I hear something rise from behind us
