Chapter 12: The forest of Chakra

Yukas POV
I open my eye. Waking up from my sleep. I'm on a futon in a house, familiar to me. I feel a wet cloth on my forehead I feel better than before I look around the room I'm in
"This must be Mister Tazuna's house" I say in a whisper My eyes landed on Kakashi Sensei, who's besides me
"Oh Shiori you're awake" he says
"Sensei?" I call in a questioning tone
"Both waking up huh? Are you two alright?" a familiar voice asks
"Yes. Thank you" I answer politely
"I've been better, it'll be a week before I can move normally" Kakashi Sensei groans in pain as he sit up
"See. It's better if you don't move, so just lie down" she says 
"Mmm. Alright" Kakashi Sensei reluctantly does as he was told  Everyone comes inside the room 
"Look. Yuka's awake. And the Sensei is coming around!" Naruto says 
"Listen Sensei. You're Sharingan is amazing and everything, but if it puts that much strain on you, maybe it's not worth it" Sakura kneels between my futon and Sensei's futon
"Sorry" Kakashi Sensei apologises
"Are you okay now Yuka ?" Sakura asks with a worried look on her face
"Yeah. I'm fine now. Thanks" I answer as I smile at her
"Yuka what happened?" Kakashi asked
"I don't know. All I remember is looking into your left eye and my head started hurting like crazy than I saw someone's eye. They were like your but different." I say rubbing my head
"Mmm i have another question? How do you know Zabuza?" Kakashi asked
"He saved me when I was little. I was 5 years old when I meet him. Some ninjas who were working for someone tied to kill me for fun. They came after me with kunai knives. I thought I was dead but than Zabuza came. I traveled with him and than I meet someone around my age. I use to train with them. Until I have to leave. And that when I meet someone really precious to me. His name was Dave." I said As tears threaten to fall but I wiped them away
"He saved you?" Kakashi said with a surprised face
"Mmm, than I came here because Dave took me here and that when I meet mister Tazuna here" I said
"Wait! Your yuka?! You've grow! I didn't recognize you with your mask on" Tazuna said
"Speaking of mask. where my mask?" I asked
"Oh my daughter is fixing it so you have wear the one your wearing now. And Well, you did take down one of the most powerful Ninja Assassins, so we'll be safe for a while" Mister Tazuna states
"Right. But, you know that boy with the mask? What about him?" Sakura asks 
"Boy in a mask?" I ask, puzzled
"Long story" Naruto replies 
"He's from the Elite Tracking Unit of the Village Hidden in the Mist. Those masks are only worn by the most Elite Shinobi. The Anbu Black Ops, also known as the Inferno Squad, destroy all traces of a Rouge Ninja'd corpse. The Shinobi's body contains many secrets. Ninjutsu, Chakra, special medicines used on his body. These are the secrets of his village. If his enemies find them, his people will be in grave danger. For instance, if I were to die at the hands of an enemy, he would try to analyze my Sharingan. In the worst case, my entire Jutsu could be stolen and used against our home village. It is the sacred duty of the Shinobi trackers to prevent this, to keep the village secrets safe. If a Ninja betrays his village, the trackers hunt him down, eliminate him, and obliterate every trace of his existence. That's their specialty" Kakashi Sensei answers Sakura

"Do you still feel dizzy Yuka?" Sakura asks  "Just a little bit" I answer 
"You better lie down then" Sasuke says as he gently push me down the futon  Sasuke stares at me.
Sasuke POV
'It has to be her. I recognize those eyes anywhere. Is she My Moonlight But I need to see the rest of her face. If it is her than I need to restore her memories of me.' I thought
Yuka's POV
"Hey. Are you okay? Sensei?" Naruto asks "Hmm? Oh. Yeah. To finish what I was saying, tracker Ninja deal with the body immedietly, on the spot, so there's no room for error" he tells us
"Is that really important?" Sakura asks
"Think about it. Do you remember what that tracker did with Zabuza's body?" Kakashi Sensei asks
"We don't know what he did. I mean, I guess he took it away somewhere" Sakura answers "Exactly. But why? He should've worked on Zabuza right there, as quickly as possible. Think of the weapons he used for the take down. Do you remember what they were?" "Throwing Needles" Sasuke answers
"No way" his eyes widen
"Exactly. None of it adds up"says Kakashi
"He still might be...alive" I say
"What are you all yammering about? You demolished that assassin" says Mister Tazuna "Here's the truth. Yuka's right. Zabuza's still alive" Kakashi Sensei tells us
"Huh?"Question Naruto, Sakura, Tazuna Their jaws drop
"But we saw his body! Believe it!" Naruto says  "Kakashi Sensei, you checked him yourself! You said that his heart stopped" Sakura adds  "His heart did stop" Kakashi Sensei replies  "But. That was just a temporary state, to simulate death. The weapons that tracker used are mostly senbon. They can pierce deeply but rarely kill unless they hit a vital organ. Not in the neck. They're modified from needles used for medical treatments, like acupuncture. Trackers are trained to know every detail of the human body. Causing the heart to stop temporarily while keeping the body alive is an easy matter for them. First, he carried Zabuza away, even though it's much heavier than he is. Second, he used senbon, which was a precise effect, but rarely fatal. From these two factors, we can conclude that the tracker wasn't trying to destroy Zabuza. He was trying to save him" Kakashi Sensei explains  Mister Tazuna lifts a hand
"Come on. You're overthinking this, aren't you?"
"I didn't see what happened but Kakashi Sensei's explanation alone makes sense. It's logical" I say 
"'Upon encountering suspicuon, a Ninja prepares quickly. Hesitation leads to disaster' Every Shinobi knows this saying" says Kakashi Sensei  Naruto chuckles 
"Sensei. You said 'prepare quickly'. But how can we do that when you can barely move?" Sakura ask  Kakashi Sensei laughs 
"Huh?" Sakura look at him confusedly 
"I can still train you"  says Kakashi
"Hold on! A little last minute training won't make us strong enough to fight Zabuza. You could barely defeat him even with your Sharingan! We have to be reasonable about this!" Yells Sakura
"Sakura, why was I able to stop Zabuza? Because, you all helped me. You've grown. Naruto!" 
"Huh?" Naruto looks up in alarm  Kakashi Sensei smiles
"You've grown the most" adds Kakashi Naruto laughs a bit
"So, you noticed Kakashi Sensei! Now things are going to get better. Believe it" says Naruto
"I don't believe it and nothing's gonna be good" we hear a child's voice behind us 
"Hmm?" We turn towards the voice  A little boy wearing a hat stands before us 
"Who are you?!" Naruto yells as he points at the child 
"Argh. Inari, where have you been?" Mister Tazuna asks with open arms  Inari runs and hugs him
"Welcome back grandpa!"  The woman walks over to the both of them, hands on her hips  "Inari, that was very rude. These Ninja helped your grandpa and brought him here safely  Mister Tazuna smiles as he rubs Inari's head "It's okay. It's okay. I'm rude to them too. *chuckle*oh look yukas here" 
"Hm?" Inari said
"Hi Inari" i said with my hands open for a hug
"Yuka~Chan!!" He said running to my arms
"I missed you and your dancing" he said
"I missed you too" I said
Everyone on team 7 looked confused
"Can you dance for us again?!" He said with stars in his eyes
"Of course but once I'm better" I said
"Yay!" He said snuggling in between my boobs
But than he turns serious and get up
"Mom don't you see these people are going to die? Gato and his men will come back and find them and wipe them out!" Inari says
  Naruto stands up "What did you say brat?" Naruto asks, annoyed  "Listen up. You know what a Super Ninja is? Well, that's me, only a lot better. I'm gonna be Hokage. This Gato or Blato or whatever he's called is no match for a real hero like me" Naruto says confidently  'Super Ninja? Yeah right'  Inari looks down with a solemn look "Ha. There's no such thing as a hero. You're just full of stupid ideas!"  "What did you say?!"says Naruto  Sakura holds him back as he tries to get Inari
  "Naruto! Calm down!" Sakura yells at him  Inari looks up again 
"If you want to stay alive, you should go back to where you came from" he says and starts walking away 
"Inari, wait. Where are you going?" Mister Tazuna asks as Inari opens the door
"To look at the ocean. I want to be alone!" He answers without galncing at us 
I tried to get up but fell back on my knees
"Sorry about that" Mister Tazuna says apologetically  A few minutes later, Naruto left 
We're at the forest
"Alright. Training starts now" Kakashi Sensei states
"Right!" Naruto responds
"First, we will begin with a review on Chakra, the Ninja's basic source of power. Understanding Chakra is essential" Kakashi Sensei reminds us
"We know that" Sasuke says I nod
"He's right, a long time ago we learned about uh cattra" says Naruto
"Chakra" Kakashi Sensei correct
"Go ahead girls" says Kakashi
"Alright Naruto. We'll explain it simply so you can understand. Chakra is the elemental life energy a Ninja uses in Jutsu. It's the source of our power. Now, this energy has two forms. Physical energy, which exists in the cells of the entire body, all working together. And, spiritual energy, the primal source of power which is intensified through training and experience" Sakura explains
"As you see, these two types of Chakra must be drawn out and used together in order to perform Jutsu. Notice the interplay between physical and spiritual power. That's the key. Finally, hand signs focus and unleash the Chakra" I explain after
"Right. Iruka Sensei really did have some excellent students" says Kakashi Sensei 
"Ha" Sakura smiles proudly
"Sure" I said
'I was taught by someone else' I thought
"Ugh. What's the deal with all these complicated explanations? The whole point is to learn the Jutsu, isn't it?" Naruto complains "Naruto is right for once. We're already using Chakra energy in our Jutsu" Sasuke agrees "No!" Kakashi Sensei yells at the two
"You have not mastered this power. You've barely scratch the surface of it"
"What do you mean?" Naruto yells back "Calm down and listen. It's just like the Sakura and Shiori said. You have to draw on physical and spiritual energies and then combine them within yourself. But, how do you do that? Each Jutsu requires different types of Chakra in different proportions. You must select and combine them in exactly the right way. Up to now, you've just guessed the proportions, hoping they'd come right out right. Even if you produce a lot of Chakra, unless you can balance and control it, it's all worthless. The Jutsu won't work at all, or it'll just be a joke. You waste so much energy that way. Then your out of Chakra and you can't fight at all. You're just a target"
"Uh, so how do we change that?" Naruto asks, slightly laughing
"Train so hard that controlling your Chakra becomes second nature. To achieve this goal, you must be ready to put your life on the line" Kakashi Sensei answers Our eyes focus on the Sensei
"What, do we have to do?" Sakura asks Kakashi Sensei points up "Climb a tree" "Climb a tree?" They said in unison
"That's right. But there's just one rule. No hands"
"What? You're kidding" Sakura stares at Kakashi Sensei like he's crazy
"Am I?" Kakashi Sensei asks "Let's see" He does a hand sign and starts walking up the tree
"He's climbing"--Naruto
"Straight up. And he's only using his feet"--Sakura He stops on a branch and hangs upside down
"Well, you get the idea. Focus the Chakra toward the soles of your feet and use it to connect to the tree. This is one way to apply the power of Chakra"
"Wait a minute! That's a nice trick, but how does it helps us fight Zabuza?" Sakura asks loudly
"It's the only way to fight him Sakura. That's the entire goal of this training. First, you'll learn to draw a precise amount of Chakra to a precise point in your body. This is difficult, even for advanced Ninja. This type of climbing requires a subtle mix of physical and spiritual energy. And the bottoms of the feet are the most difficult points to focus Chakra. Are you getting the picture? If you can master this, you'll be able to master any Jutsu. Well. Theoretically. The second point is to learn and maintain your Chackra levels. When a Ninja is focused in battle, it's even harder to control and maintain his Chakra levels, a deadly mistake. To avoid this, maintaining Chakra must become second nature. Effortless. Well, I can talk about this all day, but that won't advance your skills, will it? You need to apply the power of Chakra, through training" Kakashi Sensei answers He pulls out four kunais and threw them in front of us. They look at them in surprise
"Use the kunai knife to mark the tree at the highest point you can climb, without using your hands. Then, try to get past that mark the next time, then next. At first you need to run at the tree so your momentum can take you as high as possible... Until you get use to it" Kakashi Sensei says He looks down on each one of us
"Ready?" he asks They pick up there kunai
I grabbed mine and threw it next to Kakashi
" I already know this" I said as I climbed up the tree going to the highest branch and sitting on it
"I'm more than ready. This is going to be no sweat, all the way. Believe it. Remember what you said Sensei? I'm the one who's grown the most!" Naruto says, fired up
"You're definitely the one who talks the most. Now get focused and do it!" says Kakashi Sensei
"Good luck Guys" I say
they nod at me
The three of them close theirs eyes and start focusing
"I got it. Aaaahhh!!!" says Naruto The three of them run towards the trees in front of them Sasuke falla down the tree
Sakura sat below me
"Hey. This is fun" they hear Sakura's voice they  turn towards where her voice came from  They see her sitting on a branch 
"Sakura!Yuka!"Naruto calls, surprised
The two of them slightly laughs
"Well, looks like the two female members of the squad have the most advance Chakra control. Well done you two"  Sakura sticks her tongue at them

"Yeah! Way to go, Sakura and Shiori! I knew you two were awesome. Believe it!" Naruto cheers
"Whatever" Sasuke turn his head to another side
"Well, not only does Sakura and Shiori understand Chakra, they can control and maintain it as well. We spoke about someone being Hokage one day, didn't we? Seems Sakura and Shiori have the best chance of that, wouldn't you say? And as for the great Uchiha Clan, maybe they're not so great after all" Kakashi Sensei provokes the two
"Shut up Sensei. You talk too much!" Sakura yell Sakura pout
I got down and sat down under a tree
"Alright. First I'll match. Then I'm going all the way to the top. Believe it!" Naruto declares Sakura jump down from the tree and walk towards Me
"Why don't we keep practicing too?" Sakura asked
"I'm fine. But you need to practice more" I says as she starts walking back to the tree
Timeskip
The three of them continue to practice Sakura lie under the tree, panting
She looked at Naruto and Sasuke
"I'm drained" She tells Me
I looks at Sakura
"lazy much" I said coldly
"Shiori!" Sasuke calls me
"What do you what!" I replied yelling back he motioned his hand for me to come
"Well I'm going to Sasuke" I say as i stands up from the ground and wave at Sakura she nodded
'"Yes doggie?"I say in a flirty voice as i walks up to sasuke. I'm in front of Sasuke. Then he suddenly clasp both my shoulders
"Huh?" I look at him in confusion
"Listen. I need you to help me with this. Can you give me some tips?" he says
"Of course. Let's see.Chakra requires both physical and spiritual energy. You have to be how you're always are. Calm and focused. It won't work if you're frantic. That's how you get a steady Chakra flow in the bottom of your feet" I tell him
"Hmm. I see. Thanks" Sasuke nods with a slightly visible smile "Alright. Thanks" Sasuke nods
"Oww. Ahh" I look at Naruto
Naruto gets up and does throw a tantrum "Hmm?" Naruto walks up to Sakura
Sakura's POV
"Ahh. Ahh" Naruto bends down "Hey, you're good at this. How about some advice? But, please don't tell Sasuke I asked. Please. Please!" He whispers
Yuka's POV
"Looks like Naruto is asking for some advise as well" I say as I look at Naruto and Sakura Naruto is whispering
"No matter who he ask for help, I'll still be better than him. Besides, you're the one who I ask for some advice. I'll do way better because it came from you" says sasuke with a serious face
"I'm really glad to hear you say that. But don't forget, Naruto really likes Sakura and she's the one helping him. That will motivate him too no doubt" I say
"Hn. That loser can try all he wants" sasuke says
