Chapter 2-Intro part II

Tony's Pov

Ugh, first day of school. Why does school always ruin and end a good summer. Actually, every summer is great. Then, I heard my phone buzz.

Bruce- hey tony

me- sup bruce...

Bruce- looking forward to the first day of school!?

Now, I don't get why he liked school so much. It's just so-

Bruce- uh...tony?

Bruce- tony? hello? you still there...?

me-ye ye, I was just thinking about things and stuff

Bruce- oh ok, then answer my question

me- hmm...nah. but maybe a little, I'm not sure

"Sir, you're breakfast is ready and Maria is waiting for you downstairs at the table" "Alright, thanks Jarvis, I'll be down in a minute"

me- gotta go bruce, see ya' later

Bruce- k, see ya'

"Ah, Tony, my dear, come take a seat"
"Thanks mom. so...What's for breakfast?", I asked as I sat myself.
"Oh, nothing fancy really. Just some waffles". I quickly finished my breakfast and went to get ready. I put on a black shirt, my red and golden jacket, and some jeans. I took my keys to the car and grabbed my backpack and went straight to the driveway.

"And where are you going?", Maria asked. "To school, duh, wherelse would I be heading off to?"
"Alright, but certainly not in your car", Maria replied with a stern voice. "But I drive it to school everyday!" "I know, I know. But you know it's still being repaired & not running properly", she said. "Oh yeah, then what am I supposed to ride to school then!?" "Just walk to a bus stop or to Bruce's and take the bus to school with him instead. It might be a nice change to the fast and the, er, noisy sound of your engine" "I guess it will. Well then, I best be going, don't wanna miss the bus then. Bye!", I said while hugging her. "See you after school", and she gave me a light peck on my forehead. I waved goodbye and ran off to Bruce's.

Gosh, who knew running was this much work. Well, I guess it's a way to stay fit. I got to the bus stop where Bruce just so happened to be there already. "Hey Bruce!", I yelled. He turned to his right and waved back. "Hey Tony!", he yelled back. "What brings you here?", he asked. "I had to take the bus since my car's still being fixed" " Oh ok." We chatted for a while until the bus arrived. We climbed aboard and continued our little chat. Soon, we arrived. The first thing that greeted me as soon as I got out was my girlfriend Pepper and two of her friends. Me and Pepper have been on for 2 years now. "Hi babe!" she smiled.

"Hi Pepper", I said as I gave her a peck on the cheek. Me, Pepper, Bruce and the other two walked our way to the school hallway while Pepper was in my arm, Bruce to my left, and Pepper's friends behing her, chatting away. "Aren't you excited?!", asked Pepper excitedly. "Not much, but with you here-" I was cut-off. "Oh, stop with your sweet words", she said laughing. "Anything for my princess", I said, laughing. She pouted, but decided to laugh too. We stopped to hear an announcement through the speakers. "Attention all students, please proceed to the school gym for the orientation. All students please proceed to the school gym for the orientation. Thank you." "Alright, let's go", said Bruce and we proceeded to the school gym. We got in to see a butt-load of students already inside. We found ourselves a place to sit and chatted while waiting for the orientation to start. Fifteen minutes later, everyone was told to quiet down and the orientation was about to start.
