~a few days later~
It was the last day of the trip and Steve had only just woke up. Steve went to the dining area where all the other students were. Steve went and ate his breakfast quickly and left. Everyone was surprised but brushed it off to eat their breakfast. Steve walked around the dock and enjoyed the fresh air. It felt nice. It sucked that they were heading back to the city. 'Oh well' Steve thought to himself.
When the other students were finally finished, Mr. Fury ordered everyone to start packing as we were about t9 leave. Everyone just nodded and headed to their cabin. It took and hour for everyone to finish packing, but once everyone was finished, they were all ready to go. But before they did, they had a roll call so see if anyone was missing. When there wasn't, they all took a seat on the bus, and left the site.
It was 3:40 pm when they got back. All Steve wanted to do, was lay in bed all day, but everyone had their own plans. "Hey, Steve. We're all going to mall. Wanna come?", asked Buck. "I-Ill pass. My head hurts. I'm just gonna head home", he replied. Nat decided that she would join Steve so that he wouldn't be lonely, as her parents were still at work and wouldn't be back 'til 7:00 pm. Nat waved goodbye to the others, and ran to Steve.
"What's gotten into you?", she asked. "Oh nothing. I just feel sick and my head hurts", Steve said, massaging his forehead. Nat was concerned and placed her hand on his forehead, but to her surprise, it wasn't hot. "Are you sure you're not just tired from the trip?", she asked in confusion. Steve shrugged. "Could be. I'm not sure. All I wanna do is sleep at the moment", he said quietly. Nat's only response was an 'Ok'. When they got home, Steve immediately plopped down on his couch. Nat chuckled and went to her room as decided she would sleep as well.
*2 hours later*
Nat woke up to her father calling her. "Nat! Come down, right now!" he shouted. Nat was annoyed but when she realized why she was being called down, she was shocked. Steve was having a high fever. "But, his temperature wasn't high earlier!", she exclaimed. "Well, it is right now, and it's really high", said her mom with a hint of worry in her voice. "'Aight, we're heading to the hospital, right now."

Sorry that it's short, but I just wanted to say, I might not be releasing another chapter for a while because I've lost motivation for this fic. Also, 200+ reads! .o. Wew, never thought I'd reach this, tbh. Thank you. My target goal is 500+ reads on this though. No new chapters for a while, but I'm planning to make an art book/gallery here on wattpad soon.
