Chapter 10- Camping trip: part 3

The main focus of the story is Steve, because the whole story was intended to be Steve's perspective of his highschool days. 'Aight, on with the story.

*Steve's Pov*

I had only just woken up from my nap. I woke up to the sound of splashing. I went outside of our cabin and saw people doing things. Some were on a boat, some were fishing at the other side of the lake, and my friends were swimming in the lake. I was looking for Nat, then Bucky called me from the water. "Yo! Steve! Could you lend me a towel, please?", he called. I was still a bit tired, being that I just woke up from a nap, so I just nodded. I was about to make my way to his cabin when it hit me. "wait a minu-.... Uh, Buck?! Where's your cabin?!", I asked. My shout wasn't that loud, but luckily he heard me. He then pointed to where his cabin was at, and I went to grab him a towel.

"Hmph, that's strange. They didn't bother to lock the door. Who does that", I pondered, but then I realized how stupid I sounded just then. I opened the door, and found Buck's towel (If you're wondering how I know, I've been to his house and saw it -^-). I quickly grabbed it, and proceeded to the door. I then closed the door behind me, and went to where Buck and the others were. As I walked passed the other cabins, only then did I realized that it was only us and a few other students at the site. Then Buck came to my direction. "Thanks for getting my towel", he said. "No problem, but, I'd like to ask a quick question", I said as I lendes him his towel. "What is it?", he asked. "Where are the other students?" "Oh, they went hiking. Along with Fury", Buck replied. "Oh ok, and also, where's Nat?", I asked. "Just over there, sitting on the chairs near the shore with Wanda", he replied, and he made his way to his cabin. I lookes around to find Nat, and just like Bucky said, there she was. She was near the shore with Wanda.

I walked over to them and waved. "Looks like you finally woke up, Prince Charming", Nat laughed while she signaled me to sit with them. "Wait, how long have I been asleep for?!", I asked. "You've been asleep for 2 hours", Wanda said, laughing. I scratched my head. "I guess it wasn't a nap...", I said, still scratching the top of my head. The two laughed, and I laughed along with them. "Alright, I wanna make some cake", said Wanda randomly. "Well then, why didn't you just order some?", asked Nat. "Yeah, why didn't you?", I continued. "I learned how to bake one, so I decided I would try baking one here! I even brought the right supplies and ingredients too!", she said cheerfully. Me and Nat just looked at each other. "Oh come on guys! please~?", she whined. Nat and I shrugged, and decided to help her.

We walked to the camping sites cafeteria. Now I'll say, the place's cafeteria is fancy for a campground like this. We were given permission to enter the kitchen, and we began to bake cAkE~~. It was a bit hard because we were only begginers. The whole countertop was a mess. The only reason it was a mess was because Nat decided to have a little battle -^-. Wanda then placed the batter in the oven and closed it to let it bake. "Wooh, that was tough. Thanks a lot, Nat!", said Wanda sternly. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help it!", Nat laughed. Wanda and I laughed as well. While waiting for it to bake, we had a little conversation. "Did you hear?", said Wanda. "Hear what?", asked Nat. "Oh nothing, just wanted to know if you were deaf or not", laughed Wanda. I laughed at the joke. Nat had a 'are you serious?' face on. Just then, my phone rang. I quickly answered the call.

"Hello?", I asked through the phone.

"Uhm, Steve? I have a huge favour to ask you", Bucky replied. "We've a huge problem here. Get here, quick! And don't tell Nat!", and he hung up.

"Who was it?", asked Nat curiously. "It was Bucky. He says he needs me. I'll be right back!", I said, and I rushed off to Bucky's cabin. As I got there, I opened the door, and to my surprise, there were all the boys. I looked at them in confusion. "What's the problem?", I asked in confusion, raising a brow. "This", Clint said as he pointed to a whole near their porch. I was shocked. "You broke the camp's property?!?!", I said loudly. Now I know what they meant when Buck said not to tell Nat. She would be furious! "How did this happen?!", I asked. "It's a long story...."
