While you slowly fall asleep because of how tired you are, you failed to notice a sudden vibrateness on the coffee table indicating a call from someone. Wonwoo, who just step out of the bathroom, closed the door behind him after cleaning the mess in there before making his way to his phone when he notices a call ringing in.

"Boss, some of our men has been caught by the police." Was all it takes for his blood to run cold, eyes falling to the sight of you peacefully sleeping on the bed.

He make his way to you, slowly as he don't want to disturb you from your sleep. Kneeling down in front of you, he fight the urge to push the strand of hair away from your face but at last he did as he caress your cheek with the back of his hand, softly; as if you're too fragile for him.

"I'm sorry for everything, I love you." He whispered to you, sighing as he stood up before turning off the light for you to sleep. The man walk to the balcony leaving you in the bedroom as he stares at the sparkling sources high above.

"Does she still love me the same? She must've been so scared of me. I- I hurted her, I'm a monster." He mumbles to himself, heart heavy with all kind of thoughts running through him. He turn his head towards you who's sound asleep with the moonlight falling to you skin; illuminating an alluring aura from you as the man continue to stare at you from afar. His heart has always only know you, never know anyone else aside from you.

While your love for him is as pure as snow, his love for you is as dark as coal; there's no room for love and affection but instead, obsession and possesiveness. "Look at her, so kind and pure; makes me want to keep her all for myself. I'm selfish... Have I gone crazy because of her? I- I can't live without her but I just... I always hurt her. Should I go far away from her to distract myself from her? Or should I... continue caging her with me?" He turn his head to look at the stars again, wishing for it to help him making his decision. He loves you, dearly, with all his heart but he's too toxic for you. He know that, he know he have to stop caging you in these hell made by him. But is he strong enough to let you go?

"She deserve all the happiness, right? It's only fair if you let her go, Wonwoo. It's only fair that she get to live happily like she wants, it's only fair that she gets all the freedom she wants. Sh- she will only get hurt if she continue to stay with me." He flutter his eyes close as his waterline started to watery. Thinking about letting you go and leaving you, broke him. He's not ready to let you go and he doesn't know what will happen to him by the times he really did let you go.

The man pace back into the bedroom as he lay himself beside his love of life that still sleeping, uncaring of all the things happened around her. Although you're back facing him, he smile at you, and as if you can feel his presence behind you, you turned around facing him though you're very much still asleep. His lips curve into a grin, tucking the strands of locks behind your ear as he continue to stares at you. He's content with just watching you sleeping like this, away from the danger of the world.

"I really love you, babygirl." He kiss your forehead before pulling you into his embrace.

Four days has passed since that day, you had made up your mind to not talk to Wonwoo, to not even care about him.

It was early in the morning when you tiredly blinked open your eyes. Casting a glance to her right, she notice the enpty side of the bed as she sigh, getting up on her feet and heading downstair to search for a certain someone.
