I Had A Dream

I had a dream where you were simply speaking to me
We were walking down the beach
Your gorgeous hair moving about in all its glory
And the salty air with you next to me
Gave me this certain peace
Like the time where you were sleeping soundly
Wrapping your arms around me
I'd giggle softly
And said "this is how it should be"
Love at last but it ends Deadly
Again I had a dream with you talking
We were talking nonsensical things
Till you stopped abruptly
Stood in front of me
And told me that it was difficult to say
But you loved me
I can't tell you how happy I was feeling
In the dream I was smiling all goofy
You were as if waiting for a response from me
But all I could do not to cry of joy was say:
Kiss me
And we were kissing
The type of kiss where you feel like they're the reason you're breathing
I felt so dizzy
Breathless, heaving
And then you did your thing
You grabbed my arms oh so gently
And just looked at me
And you were saying:
"I can't be promising
That I'll be your knight and armor that'll be shining
I can't promise you'll always be happy with me
On the good days we'll be how it should be
How we are right now as we are feeling
On the worst, you probably won't stand me
But I will give my all to make those days worth it."
I just shushed him and I started whispering:
"Live day by day, there's no worth in predicting. Our story has been anything but predictable and it's scary. But I'm happy. You're happy and I think that will be all we would be needing... and of course trying."
I am gagging now that I'm not dreaming
I was so cheesy!
I'm not the same silly girl I used to be
Daydreaming constantly
Yearning, longing, loving so fiercely
Now I'm "normal" and it's all breezy
But you have that magical being
To create me a bundle of clumsy, giggly, girly and I can't stand it!
I'm a mushy sap who can't stop writing
Can't stop feeling
Can't stop yearning
For the day I'll be yours again, and finally be breathing.
