"Nayeonie don't you remember them?" My dad said and I slowly shook my head

"You guys were best friends! When you guys were young you always played with each other!" My dad said

"Them? Really? I don't remember anything tho" I said

¦ flashback ¦

- 14 years ago -

"Annyeong Nayeonnie!" Younghyun, Seulgi, and Daniel said as they stick out their little hands through the car window

"Annyeong!"

"Appa, can I go to my room now? I wanna watch" I said

"Ok!" My dad said and I went upstairs

As I was watching I heard faint sobs from downstairs. I decided to go out of my room to check it

As I was walking down the stairs, I stopped halfway

"Nayeon," My dad said, looking at me with puffy eyes

"Eomma, Appa. Why are you crying?" I asked

"Your Aunt, Uncle, Younghyun, Seulgi, and Daniel got into a car crash"

"What!?" I exclaimed and I felt my knees weakening but I insisted on running down the stairs. I tripped on the second to the last step and felt my body against the floor.

The last thing I knew was I already blacked out

Nayeon was bought to the hospital quickly.

"Luckily she has no major injury. It was just shock from the fall. There were only minor injuries such as bruises and little scratches. She should be fine by now. You can take her home now too" The doctor said

"Thanks" Nayeon's dad said

"Nayeon" Nayeon's dad entered Nayeon's room

"Eomma, Appa, How are my friends? Also Uncle and Auntie?" Nayeon asked

"Youngk, Daniel, and Seulgi survived but they are suffering from memory loss. Your Auntie and Uncle, well unfortunately died at the scene" Nayeon's mom said

"Can we visit them?" Nayeon said

"Sure. Come" Nayeon's dad said and Nayeon spread her arms meaning she wants to be carried. Nayeon's dad carried her out of the room and went towards Nayeon's friends room

[ nayeon ]

"A-Annyeong," I said, being aware of the situation that they are in

"Annyeong?" Daniel said

"Who are you?" Seulgi asked

A tear slowly escaped from my eyes

"O-oh I w-was just passing by" I lied. I'm sad that they can't recognize me. But I know they have it the hardest cause they lost their parents

"Oh ok," Youngk said and I closed the door of their room.

I immediately looked at my parents and walked towards them with tears escaping from my eyes

As years pass by, Nayeon slowly forgot about them. But she sometimes gets dreams of them but barely remember in the next morning
