"Thanks for today, unnie" Jihyo said as we entered the den. She told me she didn't want to face her parents yet, which I agreed on. It's the only thing I could do as her friend. It's to stay by her side and agree on what she thinks can be best for her at the moment.

I smiled as I guided her to the bedroom

"Is it okay if I shower first?" I asked her as she nods

"I'll wait for you here," She said as she smiled. Got her phone and lay down on the bed. I took the chance to clean myself since I haven't taken a bath and it's already 9 pm

After taking a bath, I put my clothes on in the closet which was connected to the bathroom.

I got out of the closet and saw her sleeping with her phone in one hand.

I walked towards her, removed her phone from her hand, and placed it on the table next to the bed. I tucked her in with the blanket and fixed her pillows.

After a while, I exit her room and went to the other room, and slept.

- next morning -

I woke up from the sound of my alarm. I got up and fixed my hair and bed, grabbed my phone from the side table before going out of the room.

I went straight to the room where Jihyo slept in and saw her still sleeping.

"Jihyo-yah" I lightly pat her to hopefully make her wake up

"Yeah?" She slightly opened her eyes

"Let's get ready now, it's a school day"

"My head hurts, unnie," She said, touching her forehead

I went ahead to touch her forehead and as I expected, she had a fever

"Okay, I'll text our homeroom teacher to excuse us," I said

"No, unnie. I can handle myself. You should go to school" She said

"I'm going to look after y-"

* ding *

There was a text message so I looked at my phone and it was Seulgi

"You should look at it," She said as I did.

Fine I guess. She has
a slight fever so we might not go
to school today
