*Texas's pov*

"I'M OFF TO WORK KIDS, DON'T TARE THE HOUSE DOWN, DON'T HURT EACH OTHER AND MAKE SURE FLORIDA GETS HIS MEDICINE WHEN HE WAKES UP! PLEASE MAKE SURE YA'LL GET TO SCHOOL ON TIME AND IF ONE OF YOUR OLDER SIBLINGS COME HOME, LET THEM KNOW I'M AT WORK, OK?!" I hear the usual morning shout, Mum's southern accent showing to let us know she means it. "Alright Ma!" I yell back, followed by 48 other voices (Flori was asleep at the time) yelling in agreement.

The door closes and the madness begins.

For the next 45 minutes all that could be heard is screaming, yelling, things being thrown about and a lot of thudding on all levels of the house. Alaska is in the kitchen, force feeding Florida his medicine with the help of Kentucky and Delaware, Hawaii is probably halfway to pre school with the 5 year old states and everyone else is trying to get ready for school.

(Time skip)

Everyone is on their way to school now and as if on cue for me and Al leaving, DC walks in. She looks as tired as ever. I sometimes feel sorry for the gal, having to deal with the broken politics, paperwork and all.

"Mom's out at work right now, if someone else comes back do ya think you could tell 'em?" I ask knowing that she needs her rest just as much as mum. "ok sis, I'll tell whoever comes in *yawn* I just need some sleep first..."

"We should leave her be and get to school. If we don't leave soon we'll be late." Alaska whispers, not wanting to give DC a headache. "Alright" I respond as we leave the house.

(Time skip)

We walk through the streets and wave to some people on the way, unlike people in other countries, the Americans don't fear or hate us. They just treat us like other people despite the definite differences between us and them. We've heard mum say things like in other places, Countryhumans need to wear holograms to stay safe or they could be in danger from their own people! Hence mum's shades. We all have a hologram suit to where we represent and a holo-pendant to go with them.

The Americans seem to welcome the weird and wonderful into the land and that makes living a whole old easier.

(Time skip to after school cuz their school day be boring)

As me and Alaska approach the front door we hear screaming, signifying that the other Mad Hatters have already returned. We look nervously at each other and prepare for something flying at us the moment we step in.

Florida: WWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Oregon: FLORIDA GET DOWN FROM THERE!!!

ND: OH YEAH?! WELL YOUR DUMB!

SD: SAYS THE ONE WHO 'FORGOT' HOW TO FLY!

Hawaii: Why does everyone in this family feel the need to yell?

Alaska goes over to Hawaii and picks her up then joins Oregon in flying after Florida. I decide to do something that I've wanted to do for too long now.

I pull out my gun...

Empty the bullets...

Pull back the hammer...

And pull the trigger...

*BANG BANG BANG*

I shoot the empty gun directly up and the noise makes everyone freeze.

*Maine's pov*

We all heard gunshots and froze on the spot. I look around then spot Texas, her gun out and pointed up with a huge smug look on her face. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" I hear New York from his room on the top floor and look to see him standing over the 3rd floor, indoor balcony.

"Well mom should be home in half an hour and I don't know about you lot but I sure don't want 'er to see this mess." She gestures to the floor and walls, showing the mess we made without knowing it.

(Time skip)

We finish cleaning up and I decide to check on the rooms while Louis makes dinner.

I open the first door to see DC, fast asleep in bed, and I wonder how she can sleep through all of our noise and madness. Next is the military triplets' room and everything is in it's a place where they last left it. I look in NASA's room and take a moment to look at all the star charts and astronomy things laying around. Next I go into FBI and CIA's room. I open the door and see weapons lining the walls and documents scattered on the desks. I organise the documents into piles and hear someone come into the house.

 "Hello?"

I stick my head out the door and see mum back from work, looking absolutely beat. We all run and hug her before she leads herself the the office room carrying a mountain of paperwork. We all feel bad for mum, she barely sleeps because she wants to be a good mum and spend time with us as well as all her work, she more of less buys the entire shop when she does grocery shopping and flat out being a world super power is hard! All the questions, the extra meetings, the double work! It's just too much for her.

We stay as well behaved and quiet as we can for the rest of the day so we don't give our poor mum a migraine. While keeping behaved, Cali gets another wildfire and mum rushes him into the bathroom for an ice cold bath. We all help the best we can go cool California down and the next thing we know, it's time for bed.
