You sat down beside your mum and held her hand tight. Loads of things were running through your mind like...
What if she dies?
What will I do without her?
Will she make it?
The doctors came over to and told you everything about the condition she was in. They said she had bleeding from the brain which is very serious and they don't know if she will make it the night. As soon as they said them words you sunk to the floor and cried into your knees. The doctor left you alone so you could try and calm your self don but it just was not working. The door opened but, you didn't bother checking who it was because, you thought it was just another doctor. Then you heard someone sit down next to you when you looked up it was Nathan.

He pulled you really close to him and you just cried into his chest. He was messing with your hair trying to calm you down and it actually was working. Nathan made you feel so much better. You pulled away a little and he place his arms around your waist tightly. "How did you know I was here??" You ask quietly. "Jay told me you ran out crying and that you needed to go to the hospital" He replied softly.
"Why did you come?"
"Because, I care (YN) I care about you, why do you ask any way". He replied quietly.
"Its just no one has ever really cared before, except from my mum brother and Holly, they have always been here for me and now they could die" Tears were streaming down your face. Nathan pulled you close to him and just held you in his arms.
"What did you mean no one has cared for you?" He asked.
"My life is complicated. I Dont have much family but the family I do have left me. I like to call them my mum and brother but there not really. I was in care a lot as a child and then this amazing woman rescued me and now I like to call her my mum. All the way through school I was bullied I only ever had one friend and that was Holly. She helped me a lot through school and gave me the confidence to go on. If it wasn't for my mum brother and Holly I would not be here today. You told him.
"Im so sorry to hear that but Dont you worry because im here for you now and Im not going anywhere and I mean it. He whispered into your ear.
"Thankyou so much Nathan it really mean's a lot" You softly say back.

Nathan got up and grabbed your hands pulling you up with him. He then pulled you in for a hug and kissed your forehead. "We should go and get something to eat" He said.
"Im not hungry"
"You need to eat something (YN)" He said in a stern voice.
"No I Dont!!" You shouted back.
He looked a little confused to why you were shouting but he understood it was because you were very upset.
"Right fine but lets at least go and get some air"
"okk" You replied back softly.
Nathan grabbed your hand and held it tightly in his and you walked out the main reception to go outside. When you were outside you found a bench and you both sat down. Nathan still had hold of your hand but he placed his over arm around your waist. You leant on his shoulder and he started to sing to you again. He sang I'll be your strength and really it was true he was being your strength and doing a great job about it. Nathan was different to all the other boys you have ever met like he said he cared...
