(Y/N)'s POV
I watched as Spencer and his bandmates set off fireworks. Spencer set off one and I watched as it shot up into the air, creating a colorful display in the night sky. I watched in awe but the sound always scared me. I loved fireworks because they're so beautiful when they light up the sky but the boom sound that came along with it always freaked me out me. The guys were all laughing and having a good time but I decided to keep my distance. I didn't want to ruin them having a good time. Patrick started to set one off and Spencer paused and turned around to look for me in the dark. He spotted me curled up in a lawnchair and I saw his expression change. He must have remembered that fireworks scare me. He jogged over to where I was sitting and he came over to me.
"You okay? I'm so sorry, I completely forgot that you were scared of fireworks." He said. I saw the worry in his eyes.
"Don't worry about it Spence. You guys are having fun I don't want to ruin that for you. I'll be fine."
"No way, I don't want you to be scared. We can sit here and watch them together."
I smiled at him. "I'd like that."
He grabbed a blanket and spread it out on the ground and motioned for me to come lay down.
I walked over and laid down beside him. He ran his fingers through my hair and put an arm around me.
I cuddled up next to him and he kissed me.
"GET A ROOM!" Joe yelled.
Spencer flipped him off and we both started laughing.
I guess the Fourth of July isn't so bad anymore. A smile spread across my face and I closed my eyes.
*Btw I don't care if it's not a holiday I'm about to write a bunch of holiday themed fanfics because why not*
