Author's Note:

This is based on the prompt: "Falling apart barely breathing has to be one of my favorites, I live for a good slow burn. I thought of a story idea that I personally don't feel like writing atm, but what about a slow burn MerAdd story that takes place during and after Derek's funeral", from Kristin_Aubrie in a comment on "Falling Apart, Barely Breathing".

(That I never forgot, I just waited until after 40 Chapters were published in FABB to get to this.)

So this one's for you, and everyone else who follows MerAdd.

It's a story of love coming from loss, of old enemies to new friends, and of newfound Meddison lesbianism.

Cheers, folks.

Welcome to another!

Like fragile, tiny shells

Drifting in the foam
