CHAPTER 5

Teddy Wright was scared and very aware what he was about to do would ruin his life, but this was better than death, there was no way he was going to die like Ben. Maybe if he confessed Kelly and the Alice would leave him alone.

"How can I help you?" Said the middle aged woman sitting behind the desk with a bright smile on her face.

"I'm here to make a confession; I killed someone three years ago and recently I was an accomplice to another murder.

The smile died on her face immediately. "GEORGE." She said in panic. "We've got a walk in." she added looking at Teddy with disgust.

The man called George came in and the middle aged woman started talking to him. After a few seconds he brought out handcuffs. Teddy was scared at the prospects of going to jail but nothing scared him more than what Kelly said she had done to Ben on highway 56. She had come to him a few hours ago and told him what she had done. She said she would give him a head start to try and run; then she had disappeared. Well he wasn't going wait until they came for him and killed him like that. There were over 100 police officers in this place, he was sure he was safe in here, those girls couldn't touch him. Teddy grinned as they placed the handcuffs on his wrist and led him away. Yeah he was safe no ghost could touch him here.

ALICE POV

All that charred bodies, they were all dead. 350 people had died because of them. They were right in accusing her. It was all their faults, but it wouldn't happen again, that I was sure of. Yes I didn't have a plan but that wasn't going to stop me either. I arrived at the phoenix police department praying and desperately hoping that Kelly hadn't beaten me there.

"Detective Charles is with him now. He says his name is Teddy Wright." A woman's voice said behind me.

I turned around at that, I followed the man who I suspected to be heading to where Teddy was been held, he entered a room divided by a glass window. It was your standard questioning room. Teddy was sitting there with a smug look on his face. I floated through the wall separating us to stand by him. The good news was I had beaten Kelly here; the bad news was even if she showed up I had no idea how to stop her.

"I'm very curious Teddy, why are you confessing now." Detective Charles asked.

"Because Kelly and Alice are haunting me, everywhere I go they are after me. And Kelly told me she was responsible for the freak accident that happened on highway 56; she says she'll kill me too." Teddy said.

"I beg your pardon....did you say some ghosts caused the accident on highway 56." Detective Charles asked, he was looking at Teddy as if he had lost his mind.

"Yes and I don't care if you if you believe me or not." Teddy said unconcerned. He seemed very relaxed, happy even. I didn't know why, because he had just confessed to two murders, his life was over.

Detective Charles continued to ask him more questions, I stood beside him quietly, not just listening to what was going around me but watching out for Kelly. I still didn't have a plan. Unless you count me going down on my knees and begging her not to kill anymore, which I doubt will work.

"All right Teddy, an officer will arrive shortly to take you to the Williams detention centre, where you'll await your trial." Detective Charles said, he packed up his stuff and walked out. "I think he's faking the ghost thing so the judge will declare him insane and send him to the psych ward instead of jail." The detective said to another officer as he walked out.

The questioning room was empty except for Teddy who was handcuffed to the chair, I needed to talk to him but I couldn't materialize here because anyone could see me.
