Time to go home

Raihan's POV

I laid in my tent. I couldn't sleep because of all the things in my head...

During the battle, (Y/n) was a little different. It was like she was a dragon. Wait. Maybe she is a dragon, no that can't be it. Now that I think about it, when she went down to rescue me, she also  reminded me of a dragon. She was determined, fierce, and proud. Like a little dragon.

But Leon was probably right about not teasing her that way. I'm sure that Leon has a crush on her, that's probably why he scolded me. 

That hug felt nice though...

I touched the spot on my cheek where (Y/n) kissed me and felt my face heat up.

...do I love the little dragon?

Leon's POV 

Raihan's a jerk. Why would he do that? (Y/n) was so nice to him and he had to go on teasing her like that. 

I sighed.

She made us Puffs and we discovered a new food! Food is great and brings people together! Poképuff head (Y/n) probably knows that. 

I turned my head and saw my cap.

I wonder if she'll be the one to finally beat me. (Y/n) did beat Raihan on his own terms. But she changed a little when she was battling. After Lycanroc was knocked out, she and Garchomp both gave off some sort of aura. Then when Garchomp mega evolved, they both seemed to move together...as though they were the same being. Whatever it was, her strategy fascinated me.

Then I remembered what Hop said to me yesterday night, "It's about time you got yourself a girlfriend! I thought you might like her! Have you seen the way she battles? So when are you two getting married?"

I groaned a little and hit my face with my cap. 

She's not my girlfriend...

Still, I felt blush creeping onto my cheeks.

(Y/n)'s POV 

I woke up to Vee hitting my face. I sat up and stretched. 

It's too early to be alive...

I rubbed my eyes, blinked a couple of times, and squinted.

Why am I alive? Who am I? Was I kidnapped? Where am I?

I punched myself in the face and earned a worried look from Vee. I shook myself off and went back to normal.

"Okay. I'm good now. So it's time to get up then?" I said a little groggily.

Vee spun around and screeched, "Eevai! Eve eevee!"

I sighed and started to get dressed.

Today will be the walk back home. I should make some breakfast for us, I hope Vee didn't wake everyone else up. I wonder what everyone else back at home is doing. Mom and Dad said that they didn't want to leech off of my success if they could avoid it but it would make me happy if they accepted some of the gifts I gave them... I get what they said but still! It's the least I could do after they took care of me so well and it'd be nice if I could help them while they take care of my Pokémon. They are like my children, and like children they cause all sorts of trouble..

I finished putting on my clothes and unzipped the tent. It was still a little dark out and I frowned a little. I could hear that Fluffy head and Dragon boy were still asleep too...
