A week later...

(Y/n)'s POV

I wasn't sure to be mad or happy right now. On one hand, I'm short and look younger than I am. On the other, people keep thinking I'm fourteen or thirteen! I've had to tell so many people that I'm almost nineteen!

I walked frustratingly through the Galar mines.

This past week went by rather quickly as me and my Pokémon trained up. The rest of the group got to know Aiko and Chompers took an extreme liking to him. Me, Vee, Dusk, and Riptide were practicing a routine when Aiko tried to do it with us. Of course I had to add him in, he was adorable!

But seeing that it was almost a week and I should probably get started on the challenge soon, I started to make my way to the first gym. I battled some of the workers and made friends with lots of the Pokémon in the mines. I wanted to snack on something so I opened one of my many containers of Poképuffs and started to eat some with Vee, of whom was sitting down on my head. Most people liked to make Poképuffs for humans and Pokémon separate, but I thought they were both tasty.

Everyone in the mines was so nice.

I skipped through the mines, waved at some Pokémon and occasionally gave them a Poképuff that I thought they would like. I was in a good mood to say the least.

Eventually I got to the end and was met by another gym challenger. He had fluffy white hair and a pink coat. He must have heard me because he turned around look at me.

"Coming this way? I'd advise against it. Any trainer with a Wishing Star is in for a beating from me and my Pokémon!" He told me.

I huffed and pouted a bit. I ate the remainder of my Poképuff.

I hate it when this happens. Next thing you know I'm going to go on another separate journey that involves mythical or legendary Pokémon! That always happens to me whenever I move to a different region. Maybe that's what Mew calls lucky but I call it more work! I have like, over a hundred responsibilities already!

Naturally I stepped forward.

"Hiya there, kid! I don't know what you're doing threatening trainers here but I need to get out so..." I told him with a carefree undertone.

At this he scoffed and ran a hand through his hair.

"Who are you calling a kid? We're the same age. Besides, I don't know who endorsed you but I hope you know that I was endorsed by the Chairman." He said proudly.

I grabbed Vee from my head and hugged her to my chest. I was a little annoyed at the age part but my good mood wasn't spoiled.

"I'm calling you a kid, kid. Don't know what part of that didn't get through your puffy haired head, but I'm willing to say it in a way that you'd understand!" I said cheerfully.

To be honest. I got like this whenever I was in such a good mood that I couldn't be brought down unless something really bad happened.

Either way, that seemed to set the kid off a little. He took a Pokéball from his belt and send out a cute little Solosis.

He then said, "I'll show you how strong I am after I beat all your Pokémon!"

Me and Vee gave each other an amused look.

"All righty then." I said uncertainly.

I let Vee go and she hopped out of my arms and into the battle field.

...she one shot all his Pokémon with swift.

After that, he wore a surprised face. I gave Vee another Poképuff and walked over to the other trainer.

"Sorry to say but it looks like I won. By the way, my name is (Y/n) (L/n). What's your name?" I asked cheerfully.

The white haired male made a surprised face.

"Wait. You're the one the chairman was talking about?!" He panicked.

"Well I'm the only (Y/n) (L/n) that I know, so probably." I told him.

"Please don't tell him! I'll do what you ask me to! I'll do anything!" He pleaded.

I looked at him and couldn't help but feel bad for the guy.

"Ok, if it makes you feel better. The first thing that I want you to do is stop worrying about it. The second thing is tell me your name. The third, let me walk you to the Pokémon center. The fourth, try the stuff in this container and share with your Pokémon. The fifth and last is to become my rival! I can tell that your Pokémon probably could put up a fight to someone their level. But unfortunately, we're way out of your league." I said to him.

I started walking out the mines and the sunlight hurt my eyes a little as I stepped out. I looked out onto the view and smiled a little. The boy followed after me and I gave him the container. He opened it and looked inside.

"What are-" he began to say.

I grabbed one and shoved it into his mouth before he could finish his sentence.

I sighed and mumbled, "Gosh darn Galarians and not knowing what Poképuffs are..."

~Time skip brought to you by Bede eating Poképuffs

At the Pokémon center, I learned more about him. His name was Bede, from the battle we had he was a Psychic type trainer. Turns out he really liked Poképuffs but was a little embarrassed about it. We parted ways after his Pokémon got healed. I explored the town a bit before challenging the gym.

When I went to challenge it, I had to chase Pokémon called Wooloo different gates. Pokémon called Yamper were supposed to make it more challenging but I asked them if they wouldn't chase off the poor Wooloo and they agreed. Some trainers tried challenging me but Vee one shot all their Pokémon. I soon got to the gym leader, whose name was Milo, and Vee once again beat all his Pokémon with one hit each. I walked up to receive the grass badge and he congratulated me for beating his gym in record time.

I walked out of the gym and stretched my arms out. I looked around at the scenery and liked the grassiness of everything. Sighing, I took a Corviknight back to the wild area and began to explore. As I was out, I found this wonderful looking place.

Hey this would be a nice place to have a showcase.

An idea formed in my head excitedly and I took out my phone. I sat down on the grass and started to make a poster. It took a while but I finished it. The poster had said that a week from today, there will be a Pokémon showcase held near by Hammerlocke city in the Wild Area. I posted it online and went to a printing shop to make posters. I started asking some businesses if I could hang up a poster there and most agreed!

Alrighty then (Y/n)! No turning back now, let's show them what a real Pokémon show case looks like! Oh, wait! I should text Fluffy head and Dragon boy about this!

I got my phone out and sent them a picture of the poster.

Then I got another bright idea.

Me: Hey! You two want to learn about showcases? I can teach you guys tomorrow if you want! Just meet me by Hammerlocke around lunch.

Fluffy head: Sure. Though I do warn you. I'll probably be really bad at it.

Dragon boy: I got some work but I'll be there a little late!

I smiled down at my phone like a school girl being asked out on a date! I could hardly contain my excitement!

Me: Okay! Can't wait to see you guys!

Me: (▰∀◕)ノ

Dragon boy: (*бωб)

Fluffy head: How do you guys do that?!

Me: XD You'll never know Muhahahahahaha

I slipped my phone into my pocket and let out all my Pokémon.

"Ok guys! So here's the plan!" I said to them.
