New beginnings

A few months later...

3rd person POV

(Y/n), Leon, and Raihan got close with one another after the trip. Though (Y/n) mostly left the two guys to do things on their own because she was busy with figuring out how to bring Pokémon showcases to the Galar region.

But today was the day that changed everything.

(Y/n)'s POV 

Today's the day that I start the gym challenge! I can't wait! Registration day is today!

I got too excited and accidentally rolled off the bed and hit the floor with a hard thump. Vee woke up and looked at me worriedly.

"Hehehe... It's fine. Just clumsy little me again." I said with a hint of embarrassment in my voice.

I was weird. I could be a complete clumsy catastrophe or I can be good on my feet. There was literally no in between.

I got up and looked for my backpack. I started packing up all sorts of things that I could possibly need. When I was just about done, I looked over and saw the hoodie that the quartet had made for me. I picked it up and hugged it tightly, rubbing my face across the soft material. Vee shook her head a little and sighed at me. Then she said something that directly translated into "Kokoa you're hopeless. But you're adorable."

I pouted at her and said, "I am not hopeless! I'm just..."

My face turned a little pink and I hid my face in the hoodie. I heard Vee sigh again so I stopped being a little girl and got dressed. I walked back into the room and put on the copy of Raihan's hoodie. I got my showcase outfit and touched the collar of it fondly before delicately putting it into my bag. I picked up my backpack and brought it down stairs. Then I saw Link, Stella, Leaf, and Meadow in the living room corner. I had dubbed them the Fashion Four a while back.

"Fashion four." I said to Link, Stella, Leaf, and Meadow.

"I'm going to need you all to stay here and take care of the house. There are no exceptions when it comes to this okay? I will probably come by every three to four days. Stella you know how to cook so I trust you with that. Link and Meadow, I know you two are clean freaks so I trust you with cleaning the house. Leaf... I know you're one of the most responsible so just make sure nothings broken and these three stay out of trouble." I sighed the last part.

The four of them looked at me and then at each other. Link made his signature smug smile, ran up to me, jumped, and placed something big on my head. I touched it and it felt a little familiar. I picked it up from the bottom and took it off my head. I immediately recognized it as Leon's cap. I blushed a little and hid my face with it. I brought it away from my face and put it on my head correctly. Link looked as smug and devious as ever.

"Well guess it's time for some breakfast!" I said sighing at my Pokémon.

The four cheered and I got to work. Soon I heard the rest of my Pokémon friends wake up and come downstairs. I finished cooking and served my starving Pokémon. Just as I was about to sit down and eat, I heard a knock at the door. I sighed down at my food and walked over to the door. I opened it and mentally panicked when I saw Fluffy hair and Dragon boy. I stared at the two of them blankly and they stared back at me with a similar face. Then I got hit by something in the head and caught it as it fell down.

"Where did you-" Leon started to say before I cut him off.

"DO YOU TWO WANT BREAKFAST?! COME INSIDE!" I screamed nervously.

I left the door open and went to go serve them some of the extra breakfast, each move I made was terribly rigid. I put the two plates in front of them at the table before sitting down with a "everything is fine. This is FINE." smile.
