"I think we need to step this up" Pete said, leaning back in his chair. I raised an eyebrow.
"What did you have in mind?" I asked.
"Austin still hasn't said anything to me, which means he's not mad enough" he started. "What if I propose?" He smiled. I looked at him wide eyed.
"Don't you think it's soon?" I chuckled.
"Exactly, we been 'dating' for only 3 months now" Pete said leaning foreword, resting his elbows on his knees. "That would piss him off" he smiled. I sighed.
"We thought the relationship would piss him off but it didn't" I said. Pete sighed.
"Well, I know it'll work this time" he said confidently.
"How do you know?" I asked, lifting an eyebrow.
He sighed.
"Austin planned on proposing once he got off tour" he said quietly. I furrowed my eyebrows at him.
"And how do you know that?" I asked.
"Austin told Jimmy, jimmy told me" he said. I sat up and looked at him astonished. I thought for a moment but then finally came to a decision.
"Let's do it then"

"So this is how you're going to be?" Austin yelled, pushing passed me as I opened the door. I turned to him and gave him the best confused look that I possibly could.
"What are you talking about?" I asked, trying to act as dumb as possible. He ran his fingers through his hair and turned to me.
"You're getting married?" He said. He didn't look angry, he looked upset. His voice croaked, and he had definitely been drinking. I looked down at my feet and nodded. "Jesus Ariana" he groaned and plopped down on my couch. I walked over to him and stood in front of him. He looked up at me.
"But what about us?" He asked, placing his hands on my hips and pulling me on to his lap. I sighed.
"There is no us" I said quietly. He pushed my hair behind my ear and shook his head.
"Don't say that" he whispered. "I still want you" he said, pressing his forehead against mine. I shook my head and fought back the tears forming in my eyes.
"You mean so much to me Ariana" he said, caressing my cheek with the back of his hand.
"Austin I-" I started
"I know I fucked up ariana, and I'm so sorry, I swear to god it'll never happen again" he said, with his broken voice.
My front door flung open and I quickly hopped off of Austin.
"What's going on?" Pete asked, acting confused looking at Austin and I. I smiled and him and walked over to him.
"Nothing" I smiled. Austin rolled his eyes and stood up. He walked up to Pete and stood directly in front of him.
"You're not marrying her" Austin said bluntly. Pete grabbed my hand and brought it up in front of Austin's face, showing off the diamond.
"It looks like I am" Pete smiled.
"You don't even like her" Austin yelled.
"I like her enough to marry her" Pete yelled back. Austin chuckled and nodded. He looked down at my and I looked away from him. He brought a finger underneath my chin and lifted my head.
"I'll be back tonight" he said quietly, then walked out. Pete waited for the door to close then he turned to me.
"That was awesome, he's so mad" Pete said excitedly. I sighed. "What wrong? Isn't that what you wanted?" He asked confused.
"I have to tell him" I sighed.
"What? No, you can't yet" Pete said frantically. I rolled my eyes and took a seat.
"I can't do this anymore" I groaned.
"Why?" He asked, taking a seat next to me.
"Because I want him back, he wasn't mad Pete, he was hurt" I said.
"Good" Pete scoffed, "he deserves it" he mumbled. I rolled my eyes and sighed.
"Why does he deserve it?" I mumbled.
"Because, ariana, he cheated on you, twice" he chuckled.
"Pete, just stop" I groaned.
"Hey I'm just saying- he deserves to go through a little pain" he said.
"Just leave Pete" I said rolling my eyes. He walked towards the door.
"Just think about it" he said quietly, and left.

"Knock knock" a familiar voice said from behind me, knocking on the door. I smiled to myself and let out a sigh.
"How'd you know I'd be here" I said, turning my chair around to face Austin.
"well" he sighed. "You weren't home and this is the only other place where you spend all of your time" he said, taking a seat next to me.
"It's therapeutic" I smiled, turning back to my papers.
"It is" he smiled. "What are you working on?" He asked, leaning over and grabbing the papers in front of me.
"A song" I smiled. He took a deep breath and looked at the papers.
"Good, it's about time you start making music again" he smiled, slowly reading over the papers.
"I'm going to act oblivious for the sake of conversation" he chuckled. "Who's this about?" He smiled. I smiled at him and looked down at my feet.
"You" I said quietly. He leaned foreword and adjusted a few of the knobs on the sound board.
"Well, get in there, start putting parts down" he said. I smiled, and made my way into the soundproof room and took a seat on the stool.
**

As we went through the end of the song, Austin sat outside of the studio, making me laugh at the funny faces he was making and the funny actions he was doing.
He took his seat once again. He pressed the mic button and begun talking.
"I think that's a wrap, come on out and we can listen" he said. I removed my headphones and hung them on the mic stand. I took my seat next to him and he started playing the song.
We played the song and we both agreed that it was perfect, after all, we've been in here working on it for 8 hours, it was nearing two in the morning, it better be.
"Do you have anything else?" He smiled. I chuckled.
"Yeah, but it's stupid" I said shaking my head.
"Let me hear" he said.
"No" I chuckled, "I don't even think it'll be on an album, it's really , personal" I sighed.
"What's it about?" He asked, rocking back and forth in his chair that wasn't meant to rock. I sighed and looked down at my fingertips.
"Do you remember what you told me when I would wake up every night with panic attacks" I started. "When I was pretty much going insane?" I asked. He nodded. "Well, it's what you told me every time I get overwhelmed" I chuckle. He nodded. I nodded back. "Well, I wrote a song about your advice, and having anxiety" I smiled.
"Let me hear it" he smiled. I sighed and nodded.
"It's not done yet, I'm still working on a few things" I said. He chuckled.
"Just play it" he smiled. I nodded and scrolled through a few tracks.

"Want to know what I think?" He said, leaning foreword resting his elbows on his knees. I turned to him and nodded.
"You need to put out God is a Woman, No Tears left to cry, and Breathin, as soon as possible" he said. I chuckled and shook my head.
"I don't know Austin" I said shaking my head.
"I'm serious" he said, placing a hand on my thigh. "This is going to be a really great album" he smiled. I sighed, and put came the word vomit.
"Austin I need to tell you something"
