Scooter and I stood on the side of the stage as Austin did his radio interview and his recorded performance.
"Whatever you taught him last night worked" scooter said, nudging at my arm.
"What?" I asked, looking over at him. He looked down at me confused.
"At the studio?" He said. Oops. Completely forgot that Austin had told him that as an excuse.
"Oh, yeah, right" I nodded, going along with it."So Austin, touring with Ariana Grande, how exciting is that?" The interviewer asked. Austin glanced over at me and smiled.
"Yeah it's really exciting" he nodded.
"It must feel so good to be chosen to be the support for the biggest celebrity in the word right now" the interviewer said.
"Yeah it's really great, I'm so thankful, for such a wonderful person like Ariana" he said staring at me dead in my eyes. I squinted my eyes at him and shook my head. He gave me a cheeky smile and waved his hand around like a five year old wild wave at someone.
"Have you and Grande made a good friendship, she's a great person to connect within the music industry" the interviewer said.
"Um, I'd say were- more of acquaintances" he said.
"Ouch-"
"No it's not a bad thing, we just haven't known each other that long" Austin said, saving himself and me. He was horrible at interviews. Absolutely horrible.
As the interview came to an end, scooter and I walked into the room and met Austin. The interviewer talked to me for a little while, until Austin was ready to leave.
When he finally walked over to us, we wrapped everything up and headed out to the car.
"You're horrible at interviews, you definitely need to work on it" I said to Austin.
"Well, I've been on a total of 6 interviews, you've been on hundreds, yet you can't keep your cool if someone asks about your personal life, Miss Diva" he said.
"Wow okay, rude" I said. The driver opened our car door and we all piled in.
"Cause you're just so nice to me" he said sarcastically.
"All I did was let you know that your interview skills need help" I said, throwing my seatbelt over my body. He rolled his window down and pulled his cigarettes out of his pocket. He lit on and placed it between his lips.
"Must you do that in here, with me right next you" I scoffed. He blew out the smoke and turned to me.
"Yes ma'am" he said with a smile.
The driver drove us back to my house and we walked in. My family was already there waiting for us. We all hung out for a few hours, just getting as much time in as possible before we had to leave for so long.

After Austin's performance he made his way off the stage. He stopped before me and took a deep breath.
"Break a leg" he said, turned away, but stopped. "Please take that literally" he said with a smile.
"Please fall down the stairs, and take it literally" I said, giving him a fake smile.
"Ouch" he chuckled.
As the show finished, I made my way backstage. I was surrounded by people, offering me water, towels, anything I could possibly need.
I opened the dressing room door, and closed it. Only to be greeted by Austin sitting on the couch. I scoffed.
"why are you so- present?" I said, disappointed. He chuckled.
"Why are you?" He asked, standing up and walking towards me.
"This is my tour" I said, crossing my arms over my chest.
"So that doesn't mean you have to follow me everywhere" he said.
"This is my room" I spat.
"But I was in here first" he said.
"You have your own room"
"But yours is so much better" he said, caressing the side of my cheek with the side of his hand.
"Don't touch me" I said, slapping his hand away.
