Well, more like 20 years ago...
Belle married her Beast in front of 6,000 of their closest personal friends.

Yeah, so instead of a honeymoon, Beast united all of the kingdoms and got himself elected king of the United States of Auradon. He rounded up all the villains and sidekicks...
Basically all the really interesting people... and he booted them off to the isle of the lost with a magical barrier to keep them there.
And then there was me, Raegan Fitzherbert, I am completely filled with hero blood, no bad blood in me. But a prophecy an Oracle told everyone that was about me and my twin brother Eli.
On the day of their eighteenth birthday, thunder will strike, and Raegan Fitzherbert will be overwhelmed with darkness, Eli Fitzherbert overwhelmed with goodness, one will rise, the other will fall.
Big whoop. So I was destined to be evil, who knows if that would actually happen when I turned eighteen. An old hag saw the prophecy, she could have been lying.
So basically everyone was terrified of it, so when I was six, they kicked me to the isle where I was abandoned. I was only a child, and they say villains are cruel.
There was no magic. No wifi. No way out.
This place was a craphole, but at least I had four amazing friends, Mal, Jay, Evie and Carlos. Even had a mother like figure Mother Gothel, yes, the enemy to my mom, but she was more of my mom than Rapunzel, who I don't even really remember. All I know is she left me with a necklace of my family's Crest.
Take that mom, mother Gothel raised me!
Anyway, I've been on the isle for ten freaking years. I learned all the rules of being a villain. Might have came from hero's, but I was evil as they come.
Maybe the prophecy would come true, and maybe they could have stopped it if they didnt send me here. It's their fault.
And everything was great.
But everything was about to get better when king Ben, my best friend when I was six, don't remember him much either, basically I don't remember my old life, anyway, Ben made a proclamation to bring VKs to Auradon.
Carlos, Cruella De Vills son.
Jay, Jafers son.
Evie, Evil Queens daughter.
Mal, Maleficent's daughter.
And me, Raegan Fitzherbert, Rapunzel and Eugene Fitzherbert's daughter, I'm not a VK but they sent me away like I was a villain and now, I'm just like the VKs.
We are about to cause chaos in Auradon.
Bring it on, Auradon.
