After Y/N knocked out the three bandits instantly he turns around and sees Aerith crawling through a hole and he follows her. They walk through the open vault and they crawl through another hole.
Aerith: Random question, but... why did you quit being a SOLDIER?
Y/N: That is random.
Aerith: You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. Um, did you have any SOLDIER friends? Any war buddies?
Y/N: No... not really.
Aerith: Oh, okay.
As they reach the top after climbing the ladder there were two bandits standing together and Y/N quickly runs and knocks them out. Y/N and Aerith see a console up ahead as there was another robot arm.
Aerith: Stupid ladders. Always out of reach... Okay Y/N, heading down. You're in charge of the arm, got it?
Aerith climbs down and Y/N moves the robot arm and he moves the container to the side. Y/N then moves the other robot and grabs the container and drops it on the other. Y/N lowers the first container and Aerith climbs on top of it. Y/N lowers her on the container and he moves the other robot arm and lowers it for Aerith. Y/N then moves the robot arm onto the platform and Aerith jumps off and runs to the ladder. Aerith lowers the ladder. Y/N climbs down the ladder and he goes to the other ladder and meets up with Aerith.
Aerith: That went pretty well.
Y/N: Sure did.
Y/N was about to give Aerith a high five but pulls his arm back.
Aerith: Hm? Wait a minute, did you just...?
Y/N: Nope.
Aerith: Don't worry, we'll be on the same page next time.
Y/N: What are you talking about?
Aerith: I'm sorry, okay!
They climb up the ladder.
Aerith: We made it! Smell the fresh air?
They crawl through the hole at the end of the tunnel. Aerith turns around and looks at Y/N.
Aerith: Y/N. Up top.
Y/N slowly raises his hand and they give each other a high five.
Aerith: Alright, there it is. The gate to Sector 7.
Y/N: Looks shut. How do we open it?
Aerith: More importantly, how about we take a break? Sound good?
Y/N: No. I don't have time for--
Aerith: Up there looks nice. C'mon!
Aerith climbs up and Y/N follows her. Aerith sits down.
Aerith: You know, a long time ago, I used to sell flowers here.
Y/N: Oh yeah?
Y/N reaches to the top and he sits with her as Aerith sits closer to Y/N.
Aerith: So, Y/N... You were a SOLDIER: First Class, right?
Y/N: Yeah.
Aerith: Weird.
Y/N: Really? What's weird about it?
Aerith: Nothing. Just that you were the same rank.
Y/N: Huh? As who?
Aerith: A good friend of mine.
