Confrontation

After Y/N delivered the message Tifa, Aerith, Cloudia, and Jessie quickly ran to help Red XIII. They jump across to the other side and they quickly climb down the ladder. Tifa, Aerith, Cloudia, and Jessie quickly run to Red XIII to see him fighting four monsters.

Tifa runs in and does a flying kick at the monster and it flies over the railing. Jessie shoots the other monster in the leg as Cloudia punches it over the railing. Aerith sends an ice spike at the monster's chest and Tifa kicks it over the railing also.

Tifa: You okay?

Red XIII: I am now.

Tifa and the others look up to see Y/N and Barret.

Barret: Nice one!

Cloudia: Did Y/N and Barret find anything?

Red XIII: Actually, they just found the entrance to the 4th Ward. But to unlock it, they have to access the central terminal, which they cannot do from their position.

Aerith: Maybe we can get to it instead.

Jessie: Let's try.

Tifa, Aerith, Cloudia, Jessie, and Red XIII run down the stairs. Red XIII runs across the wall to the other side and he pulls the switch as test tubes pop out. Tifa and the others hop across to the other side.

Aerith: Look, an elevator.

Aerith presses on the button but it didn't do nything.

Aerith: And it's not moving.

Red XIII: The professor still has plans for us, I presume.

Aerith: For the record, I don't like this one bit.

Red XIII: All that remains is the 4th Ward. We must trust in Y/N and Barret to see it through.

Cloudia: Well, let's go get it open.

Cloudia pulls the switch as the bridge was connecting to each side. The gate opens as Tifa, Aerith, Cloudia, Jessie, and Red XIII walk across to the other side. Tifa heads to the central terminal and she flips the switch to open the fourth ward. Cloudia heads to the terminal and she holds down the red button.

Y/N (terminal): That you?

Cloudia: Yeah. We found an elevator on our side.

Y/N (terminal): Good. Glad to hear it.

Cloudia: But... we can't use it.

Jessie: The ugly professor probably did something.

Red XIII: There's only one thing we can do. We need to head to the 4th Ward, just like he wants.

Tifa: We unlocked it on our side. You should be able to get in.

Y/N (terminal): Thanks. Wait for us there.

Y/N lets go of the button.

Barret: Right. Now we head back to the door.

Y/N and Barret hop back to the other side. Y/N and Barret run up the stairs and they run through the door.

Barret: We, uh, made Wedge wait while to be rescued.

Y/N: Guess so.

Barret: You know, he really likes you.

Y/N: Maybe.

Barret: Friendly guy, but he has hard time opening up to people.

Y/N: Well, that makes two of us.

Barret: He's got your back, though. Heh... makes two of us.

Y/N flips the switch and the door opens. Y/N and Barret climb down the ladder and they run to the other side. Y/N and Barret climb up on the other ladder and they walk through. Y/N suddenly hears something coming down the tunnel.
