*SHIRLEY's POV*
As I get to school, Loveth was my tutor, she showed me around finally I was excited as she took me to my class
"It is my first day in Deer Creek High School and it's going to be awesome just like Beacon Hill in California" I mumbled to myself

Deer Creek is one of the most popular schools in Oklahoma City 🌃. Deer Creek high school has dramatically expanded over the past half-decade. It facilitates include a two-story annex, a freshman academy, an Alumni Hall, the old gym, a PAAC (Performing Arts & Athletics Centers), a multi-sport complex, and a new football stadium.

Deer Creek high school is a *Blue Ribbon School*

Blue Ribbon Schools are award program called The National Blue Ribbon School Program

The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program is a U.S. Department of Education award program created in 1982 that recognizes exemplary schools both public and non-public schools on a yearly basis. Using standards of excellent evidence by student achievement measures, the department honors high-performing schools and schools that are making great strides in closing any achievement gaps between students.

Deer Creek High school has been ranked #7 in Oklahoma high schools out of #504 and won several awards (the football team won 3A state title last year, Boy's cross country team won 4A state championship in two years and a 5A state championship in four consecutive years with a lot more)

"Good morning ma" I greet the lecturer in a lovely tone who was busying writing on the marker board as I open the door "Good morning" she responded back "you must be Shirley Helming" she added, "yes ma" I replied welcome she said

She turned to the class and said class this is Shirley and please be nice to her and take her as one of your own she then turned back to me "do you have anything to share with us about yourself or would you like to sit" no thank you ma I prefer to just sit I said with a smile on my face in order to avoid what will bring back my past memories okay she said clutching her hands together "in the absence of nothing to say to the class, go and sit behind Tony, the guy on a green t-shirt with blue jean" she said pointing to tony

Thank you ma I thanked her as I went to sit, she then continues with the equation on the board, a few minutes later she wrote an equation on the board which look very complex to me after her explanation she asked a guy to solve it who wasn't listening to her

The guy was walking majestically to the marker board judging by the way he was walking you could tell that he's rude

The boy is wearing 3D animate hood on black velvet jean with a black snicker, he uses the hood to cover his face, judging by the way he was moving his head along the body as he walks you could tell that he's listening to music, the earpiece that is in his ear wasn't just for fancy

Hey Jason after you have solved this equation I will give you back your phone she said to him as she collected his phone and earpiece from him when he got to where she was standing

Ok ma he says, the voice sound familiar to me but I just keep wondering who is Jason

Not up to 2 minutes he solved the equation perfectly Ma may I have my phone back he says in a polite manner yes, of course, she said as she gave him back the phone thank you ma he replied

He must be a nice guy though I thought within me
Hey, Shirley, next time don't judge too fast especially seeing the person for the first time I civilly mumble to myself with a small smile

As he turned his face to remove his hood I could feel the light wind that passes through him, my heart started beating out of my chest, with a sad expression on my face

*Remembering*
Ray: (Scratching his hair) hey Shirley do you wanna go out with me?
If it is not a date I'm not going I said with a smile
Ok done consider it as a date then, 8 pm at Starbucks he said as he runs out of my working place with Joy

*Present time*
Ray!!! Exasperatedly I said to myself with tears gathering in my eyes or am I just hallucinating
