Darling come out now your meal is ready my mom said I'll be there in a sec I told her

No problem really? I asked
yeah go on I have things to do as well okay bye see you tomorrow loveth I said before I ended the call

I rush to dining room hey mom I yelled while bouncing to sit I prepare your favorite she said I know I could perceive it in my room like an eagle targeting its prey before you even called
Hahaha she said your head gets bigger when your favorite is cook
Yeah you already know that she begins to chuckle

Does that remind me to have you heard from Lucas? no mom it has been a while now since we talked
okay! She replied

So you make new friends today? My mom asked yeah I did. I know where the questions were heading but I have to give her answers how many? She asked Three actually Lydia, Liam and Tom wow that's nice she says

So... she cleared her throat How did it go today she finally asked
it was fine I tried to divert from the conversation hey she said as she stood up and came close to me I know you just don't wanna talk about it but if you don't spit it out it gonna kill you slowly inside and there's no remedy for it, so tell me what happened dear she says as she uses her hand to raise my jaw

Snap out of it Shirley I yelled after she told me what she experienced, as she was just stressing the issue about Amira (Mom can u believe that she called me a freak, she not even his girlfriend...blah blah blah. I was sick of hearing the sound of jealousy in her voice so I yelled at her)
Mom!!! She yelled back I started laughing as she ran to her room

Don't worry you will get over him like before I thought within me
You're getting jealous dear to be careful don't say I didn't warn you I shouted while smiling

Jason's POV
I saw Shirley staring as I turned
hey guy good luck Andrew whispered in my ear using his face to point to where Shirley is standing she waiting for you go quickly remember he added
I'm so sorry but I have to leave now
I could see the sad expression on Amira's face but I have to seize the moment or should I say shoot my shot. Don't worry we'll talk later I told them as I bid them farewell

Moving close to where she was standing reminds me about how happy we were before everything just went blank a year plus

She bumped into a girl and her book fell so I rush to the scene but guess what happened when I get to where she is

I helped her with her books then our eyes met no matter how hard I wish time would stop for me to pour out my heart. it will never work so I decided to introduce myself to her as if we just met because I just didn't want to bring her more pain. Guess you know what happened from there

Good afternoon dad, I greeted my dad as I got home. My dad was sitting on his couch drinking, as usual, he developed a drinking habit ever since my mom was in a coma "now the useless prodigal son is back from school he started insulting me

I should have got used to this insult but everything is like it's still fresh

I went straight to my room but guess what he followed me "I don't what you're doing in this house, your life should be the one that is ruined not your mother's" he said in a harsh tone I decided to answer him by saying I know what I did was wrong and I'm paying for it every single time. I keep wishing I'm in her position

I tried to close my door behind him but he held onto it with his hands
I don't think so you're wishing for that. You should die the moment she was pregnant with you I told her to abort you but she didn't listen now look at what you have done. You have made me a widower for 5 years now I keep wishing you're the one in a coma not her so that you can die he yelled. These words of his struck me then tears begin to roll down from my face
He slams the door against me and left

Shirley POV
I heard knock on the door
Dear someone is at the door my mom said
I'll get it mom thank you dear she went back to her room
As I opened the door I was shocked "Lucas" I screamed out his name "hi Shirley" he said

I hugged him

so how have you been I asked

fine and you? he replied

great I answered, how was Texas?

it was awesome he responded

how was your trip?

it was great
how is your mom by the way?

she's fine I responded

is your mom at home he asked, yeah I replied him

mom Lucas is here I screamed. She came out
Hello, Mrs. Helming, he says, hi Lucas when did you get back? not quite long he replied
how was your trip? it was great that'd nice to hear she said hmm I'm kind of busy right now I'll get back to you okay? She added
No problem ma he replied her

Hey, come on let go to my room we have a lot to talk about. really? He asked "yeah,"  I told him well I have what to tell you as well he said to me wow guess I'm not the only one. we both started to chuckle and went to my room

Lucas is a friend right from kindergarten he was my neighbor in California and now he's my neighbor in Oklahoma can you believe that some times life is inevitable
