Beep Beep Beep Be-

I quickly grab my phone before it's annoying sound of hell (also known as an alarm) continues echoing throughout my room. I check the time and it's 6:00 a.m.

While groaning, I get out of the warmth of my bed and grab my underwear, bra, leggings, and a random shirt from out of my walk in closet.

I jump into the shower and take a nice, warm shower. I wash my hair and eventually finish my shower. I put on my clothes and dry my hair with a towel. Once I'm done, I exit the bathroom and enter my room that's connected to my room.

It's around 6:30 and I decide to go out for my daily run. I grab my phone and my headphones and begin to leave my house. As I was locking my door and putting on my headphones, I noticed a couple of moving trucks at the house next door. I shrug it off and just begin running.

After a few laps around my neighborhood, I came back to my house. I notice a girl around my age walk inside the house next door. She was quite pretty with blonde, wavy hair that fell a few inches past her shoulders. She looked in my direction and I saw her amber eyes. She gave me a smile and I quickly gave her a small smile back.

No one's ever really smiled at me like that... At least not since the incident. At least not since I shut myself out.

It was around 7:15. Since school started at 8:00, I still had a while until I had to go to school.

I unlock my house and walk inside. I continued to walk inside, hearing only the echoes of my footsteps in my house.

I went to the kitchen and began to prepare some breakfast for me. I got some bread, eggs, and bacon and began to prepare my food.

After I finished my breakfast and went back upstairs to my room, I began to get ready for school. I stared at myself in my full-length mirror.

I pulled off my ponytail which I skillfully made, if I do say so myself, before my run. I watched as my wavy, light brown hair with natural blonde highlights fell a couple inches past my shoulder blades. I then stared back into my gray eyes in the mirror. If anyone looked past these eyes, they'd see a past. A past that explains everything. How a 16 year-old girl lost everything in a single night...
