And just when I thought my day couldn't get any worse... The hospital called me telling me that my parents were in a terrible accident and are in critical condition.
The chances of them making it out are slim to none.
I called a taxi because I don't think I could drive in my current condition. Tears wouldn't stop streaming out of my eyes and it was getting harder and harder to see.
I finally reached the hospital and the kind nurse updated me as to what happened. Apparently, when my parents were driving home from work, a drunk driver almost ran into them. My dad, who was the driver at the time, tried swerving out of the way. However, he just crashed into a tree.
They were at the wrong place at the wrong time.
After a couple hours of crying and pacing back and forth, the nurse helped calm me down. Her name was Anna. I told her about my recent breakup and she helped me through it. She even gave me suggestions as to how to get back at him.
After a few more hours, the doctor came out of my parents' room. He silently shook his head with an expression of sympathy and sadness.
That's when I knew that my entire life came crashing down. My legs slowly began to give out and I fell into darkness.
After a few hours, I woke up on a bed and the bright lights above me blinded my eyes. Anna told me I fainted after hearing the news about my parents.
That's when I realized... they're gone. They're really gone.
The doctor told me I was fine and I could leave, because my health isn't bad in any way.
The next day was the weekend so I just stayed home and cried and cried and cried. By Monday I felt a bit better and so I went to school.
Little did I know the entire school found out about my break up with Mason. My "friends" walked up to me and told me that they were only hanging out with me because of my relationship with Mason. They left and that's when I realized I've had enough.
I ran out of school and tried to find somewhere where I can take out my anger. That's when I found an old boxing ring. I met an instructor and he helped me out..
After a few months I stopped boxing, but now I'm pretty strong and know a lot of moves. My instructor wanted me to do some illegal boxing matches, but I didn't want to get into that.
