Chapter 15:

***Lauren's POV***
"I'm sorry who are you?" I ask very confused.
"Y.. you don't remember me?" He said starting to tear up.
"No...I'm sorry" I said looking down. I want to remember but I can't. Then one of the boys that looked the same as the one in the back spoke.
"Hey Laurey Boo, it's Grayson your big bro, do you remember us?" He said pointing to the identical boy beside him who took a step forward. Wait I think I remember them?
"Grayson, Ethan?" I say trying to hold on to the vague memory. Just then a doctor came in.
"Oh Lauren, I'm glad to see that your awake. How are you feeling?" She asked.
"Tired." I state truthfully.
"Is it okay if talk to Lauren alone for a minute." she says gesturing for my everyone to get out. My brothers kiss my head and leave, but the blonde one stays looking at me for a while then exists the room.
"Lauren, can you remember anything from your childhood or why your in this hospital?" She asked. I told her about the memory; it was in the summer of my freshman year and we when to Alabama for a vacation. My mom thought it would be nice to take some family photos on the beach so we found a little beach near a city and took pictures. More memories kelt coming in until they stopped.
***Jack POV***
As I walk out of the hospital room and sit in the chair out side her room that I've sat in everyday after school for a month and a half I let some tears fall. This can't be happening. I look at the closed door. The love of my life is there and she doesn't even remember me. Why does the world have to be so punishing? Why can I just be happy for a little bit? What did I do to deserve this?
"Good news and bad news boys." the doctor says coming out of Lauren's hospital room.
"She remembers up until the move here. That's a far as we can go, we've run some tests and all the other memories are gone." she says and walks down the hallway with her clipboard in hand. My heart shatters in a billion and 1 pieces. Why this? Why now? She won't remember our first date on the railroad tracks or our winter formal, I have to get those memories back. I walk into her room and take a seat on a chair next to the bed. "Lauren Dolan, I love you and I will wait for you until the end of time because that's what pure love is. Kind, soft, gentle, and most of all forgiving. Now please for give me for what I'm going to do but it's my last shot at being able to hold on to you." Here goes nothing. I lean in touch my lips on her soft lips. She pulls away after a short time. She looks into my eyes and then a look is realization came across her eyes.
"Jack?" She says with a smile.
